About me:
Hi guys, welcome to my channel, I'm Chloe, nice to meet you :) I have just started my Youtube channel in anticipation of embarking on a new journey of my own - going to uni. Specifically, I'm starting Cambridge University to study English lit. in October, and will be using this community as an informative and creative space to explore university life, study, and my interests in fashion. I'm excited to start this new chapter of my story, and hope you will come along too!

Cambridge: Magdalene College
Magdalene college was founded in 1428 as a Benedictine hostel, in time coming to be known as Buckingham College, before being refounded in 1542 as the College of St Mary Magdalene.
The First Court, was the earliest court to be built. This court still looked the same as it was first built between 1470 and 1585. The formal hall separates the First Court to the west and the Second Court to the east.
The chapel lies to the north range of First Court, and its original construction dates to 1470-72.

To and through Cambridge, UK
This video following my tour of England in October begins with views of English countryside on a sparkling Sunday afternoon, between Oxford and Cambridge. Most of it follows my tour of Magdalene College, Cambridge (where C.S. Lewis was a professor for his final decade of life), with shots of an ancient round church, St. Johns College, and the restaurant where I had my English breakfast in the center of Cambridge. The next video takes up the sequence for the following afternoon. To see more description of this video and the morning, see my blog:

Cambridge students celebrate end of exams at infamous May Ball
Well-heeled students donned their finery as they stumbled through Cambridge in sparkling gowns, towering heels and formal tuxedos as they celebrated the end of their exams with the university's famous May Ball. Guests, who paid at least £345 for a sought-after double ticket to Monday's event, had the option of a lavish five-course feast with wine pairings or a champagne reception. They enjoyed a stunning fireworks display followed by a night of entertainment ranging from comedians to classical and jazz music. Some relaxed on punts on the River Cam after the music stopped (shown bottom row, middle), while others made their way home as the sun rose (pictured top row). In years gone by, some of Britain's brightest students have engaged in hedonistic behaviour, stripping off and jumping in the river, but this year more sipped from bottles of water than alcoholic drinks as they left the college.
