Mount Ararat.
Located in Turkey, near the borders of Armenia and Iran, Mount Ararat holds a special place in mythology as it is believed to the final resting place of Noah’s ark!
Mount Kailash.
Located in the Tibet autonomous region of China, Mount Kailash plays a huge role in the Hindu mythologies. Hindus have many Gods, but the chief among them are Brahma he creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer.

Located in the north east part of Greece, Mount Athos is home to almost 20 monasteries of the Eastern Orthodox monasticism. And perhaps the reason they find it so important is because of its role in Greek mythology.

Mount Shasta has been the center of many religious legends. But perhaps the most famous one is the one that the Klamath tribe believe in. According to them, Llao, the God of the below world once fell in love with daughter of the Klamath chief but she rejected him.

Chinese mythology (中國神話 Mandarin Chinese: Zhōngguó shénhuà) is mythology that has been passed down in oral form or recorded in literature in the geographic area now known as China. Chinese mythology includes many varied myths from regional and cultural traditions. Chinese mythology is far from monolithic, not being an integrated system, even among just Han people. Chinese mythology is encountered in the traditions of various classes of people, geographic regions, historical periods including the present, and from various ethnic groups. China is the home of many mythological traditions, including that of Han Chinese and their Huaxia predecessors, as well as Tibetan mythology, Turkic mythology, Korean mythology, and many others. However, the study of Chinese mythology tends to focus upon material in Chinese language. Much of the mythology involves exciting stories full of fantastic people and beings, the use of magical powers, often taking place in an exotic mythological place or time. Like many mythologies, Chinese mythology has in the past been believed to be, at least in part, a factual recording of history. Along with Chinese folklore, Chinese mythology forms an important part of Chinese folk religion. Many stories regarding characters and events of the distant past have a double tradition: ones which present a more historicized or euhemerized version and ones which presents a more mythological version. Many myths involve the creation and cosmology of the universe and its deities and inhabitants. Some mythology involves creation myths, the origin of things, people and culture. A censer, incense burner or perfume burner (these may be hyphenated) is a vessel made for burning incense or perfume in some solid form. These vessels vary greatly in size, form, and material of construction, and have been in use since ancient times in many cultures, in both secular and religious contexts. They may consist earthenware]] bowls or fire pots to intricately carved silver or gold vessels, small table top objects a few centimetres tall to as many as several metres high. Many designs use openwork to allow a flow of air. In many cultures, burning incense has spiritual and religious connotations, and this influences the design and decoration of the censer.
Some types could also be used as pomanders, where the perfume diffuses slowly by evaporation rather than burning.
