GREEN TOUR in Cappadocia, Turkey | GALERIE IKMAN | MAGIC CARPETS IN TURKEY!
Day tour in Cappadocia
Aside from riding a hot air balloon, there’s more Kapadokya can offer.
You can also try some tours if you are going to stay for 2 or more days in Nevsehir.
They have Green, Red or Blue Tour.
We tried the Green tour as it has the places we want to visit around Cappadocia.
After our rooftop viewing for hot air balloon and had our breakfast.
We booked our tour in our hotel for Green tour which is 60 euro for each person. We're picked up with a luxury van around 9:45am together with the other group and started the tour.
The tour are included of lunch buffet, national park fees, professional local guide, and hotel pick up and drop off.

TRAVEL TO MAGICAL CAPPADOCIA (2019) cappadocia turkey,
Cappadocia the name, traditionally used in Christian sources throughout history, continues in use as an international tourism concept to define a region of exceptional natural wonders, in particular, characterized by fairy chimneys and a unique historical and cultural heritage. Moreover for me to write this, in particular, is for my passion. Which is for traveling, travel and explore the world. My homage to travel depicts my efforts to motivate people for traveling. My book In love with Japan is the example of my gratitude for traveling.
History of Turkish Cappadocia
By the end of the early 12th century, Anatolian Seljuks had established their sole dominance over the region. With the decline and the fall of the Konya-based Seljuks in the second half of the 13th century, they were gradually replaced by the Karaman-based Beylik of Karaman, who themselves were gradually succeeded by the Ottoman Empire over the course of the 15th century. Cappadocia remained part of the Ottoman Empire for the centuries to come and remains now part of the modern state of Turkey.
Nevsehir
A fundamental change occurred in between when a new urban center. Nevşehir was founded in the early 18th century by a grand vizier who was a native of the locality (Nevşehirli Damat İbrahim Pasha). To serve as a regional capital, a role the city continues to assume to this day. In the meantime, many former Cappadocians had shifted to a Turkish dialect (written in the Greek alphabet, Karamanlıca). And where the Greek language was maintained (Sille, villages near Kayseri, Pharasa town and other nearby villages). It became heavily influenced by the surrounding Turkish. This dialect of Greek is known as Cappadocian Greek. Following the 1923 population exchange between Greece and Turkey, the language is now only spoken by a handful of the former population’s descendants in modern Greece.
Tourism in Modern Cappadocia
The area is a popular tourist destination, as it has many areas with unique geological, historic, and cultural features. Touristic Cappadocia includes 4 cities:
Nevsehir, Kayseri, Aksaray, and Nigde
Among the most visited underground cities are Derinkuyu, Kaymakli, Gaziemir, and Ozkonak. The best historic mansions and cave houses for tourist stays are in Ürgüp, Göreme, Guzelyurt, and Uçhisar.
The Great Göreme
I lived mostly in Göreme and witnessed its inexplicable beauty. To travel, explore and to learn. A small town surrounded by mountains said to be made by volcanic ash. Amazing views from one corner to the other. I had witnessed surprising swing of change in weather over the period of five days where I was able to witness sunny days, rain and indeed the sweet snow.
Amazing
And the next thing was amazing. He not only helped me in the process of knowing. Why such particular currencies were not being exchanged in those small towns. But also escorted me to the nearest bus station. Yes, folks, you heard me right, he gave me a ride in his car and dropped me to a nearby bus station for my convenience and not only that he stayed there until the bus arrived. More to the greatest generosity and hospitality he offered me dinner and also offered me any help whatsoever I could please to request and he was right there to help. Just one brother to another we mixed up in a chit chat and it was like we knew each other since ages. He told me he also can find me vacation packages.
Cappadocia is an ancient city, and as soon as you reach this magical place. You would feel the generosity of nature with a unique and completely different style of landscape.
I believe the movie Alladin must have been filmed in Cappadocia. The rich culture endured in ancient civilizations can be seen immensely in this place. I love rain, and I love snowfall. You will get both over here. Cold weather with a view designed only for those who are unique themselves. Cappadocia has a lot of valleys from which. I love the most are pigeon valley, rose valley, and love valley.
Uchishehr castle has a mesmerizing view from the top and is best for hiking. A large picture of the countryside with colorful balloons hanging in the clouds. It is one of the most attracting and eye-catching destinations. The more you explore, the more you will love it and get inspired by its unique beauty.
The souvenir shops, on the other hand, deserve their space into the fantastic sketch of this beautiful city. Hand made crafts from local people are just out of this world. And you have a massive variety to chose from. Moreover, you can get almost anything you could have dreamed of shopping from such a store.

Cappadocia ; land of beautiful horses
Hey guys,
so i've been to Cappadocia a while ago and decided to bring my camera with me,it's been an amazing trip, and it's one of my favorite places to visit.
Cappadocia is located in Nevşehir,Turkey and it has so many natural beauties along with the churches that are really old and precious.
As you can see from the video, the main reason why people visit Cappadocia is the fairy chimneys.

One of the must do things if you are in Cappadoccia , is to take a day tour of Cappadocia. There are two popular tours – the Red Tour and the Green Tour.
We took the Red Tour, which covers the northern part of Cappadocia.
The first place we visited was Uçhisar, a settlement in Cappadocia, in Nevşehir Province, Turkey. The town is 7 kilometres east of Nevşehir and we covered it in the previous episode (link below)
Uçhisar, which is situated on the edge of Göreme National Park, is dominated by a 60 metre high castle-mountain, which is visible over a wide distance and has the form of a large cylindrical tower. This massif is crisscrossed by numerous underground passageways and rooms, which are now mostly blocked or impassable. They served as residential areas, as well as cloisters in Byzantine times. Originally, around 1,000 people lived in the castle, but it is no longer inhabited today. The landscape is also marked by the fairy chimneys scattered through it.
Next, we visited the The Goreme Open-Air Museum. The Open-Air Museum resembles a vast monastic complex composed of scores of refectory monasteries placed side-by-side, each with its own fantastic church. It is obviously the first sight to be visited by any traveler in Cappadocia, standing as it does in the very centre of the region with easy access from all directions. It is only 15 minutes walk (1.5 km or 1 mile) from Goreme village centre. It contains the finest of the rock-cut churches, with beautiful frescoes (wall paintings) whose colors still retain all their original freshness. It also presents unique examples of rock hewn architecture and fresco technique. The Goreme Open Air Museum has been a member of UNESCO World Heritage List since 1984, and was one of the first two UNESCO sites in Turkey.
The area covered by this Open Air Museum forms a coherent geographical entity and represents historical unity. There are eleven refectories within the Museum, with rock-cut churches tables and benches. Each is associated with a church. Most of the churches in Goreme Open Air Museum belong to the 10th, 11th and 12th centuries.
The entrance fee to the museum is 25 TL per person. In summer, it is better to visit the museum early in the morning or late afternoon, instead of mid-day. There are many churches and chapels in Goreme Open Air Museum but the most important ones are: Nunnery, St. Barbara Church, Apple (Elmali) Church, Snake (Yilanli) Church, Dark Church (Karanlik Kilise), Carikli (Sandals) Church and Buckle (Tokali) Church.
The third place we visited was the Love Valley. Love Valley is a interesting area located between Avanos and Goreme road named after the phallic shaped fairy chimney formations spread through the valley. One gets plenty of photo-ops here.

Cappadocia - Turkey
Ferries to Turkey:
Cappadocia is a historical region in Central Anatolia, largely in the Nevşehir, Kayseri, Aksaray, and Niğde Provinces in Turkey. In Ancient Greek Καππαδοξ (genitive -οκος) means a Cappadocian.
In the time of Herodotus, the Cappadocians were reported as occupying the whole region from Mount Taurus to the vicinity of the Euxine (Black Sea). Cappadocia, in this sense, was bounded in the south by the chain of the Taurus Mountains that separate it from Cilicia, to the east by the upper Euphrates and the Armenian Highland, to the north by Pontus, and to the west by Lycaonia and eastern Galatia.
The name was traditionally used in Christian sources throughout history and is still widely used as an international tourism concept to define a region of exceptional natural wonders, in particular characterized by fairy chimneys and a unique historical and cultural heritage.

This is why you NEED to visit Cappadocia - Hot Air Balloon & Underground City
Wow...that is all I can say when we finally go to see Cappadocia with our own eyes...this is the crowning jewel of Turkey.
We woke up at 3 in the morning to slowly make our way towards the hot air balloons which was the perfect start to our 3 days in Goreme.
After flying high above the city and seeing the sunrise over the town for the first time we made our way towards Derinkuyu, the underground city before ending our first incredible day at the open air museum.
The next morning we had to check out of our hotel so we decided to hike to our next hotel through rainbow valley. That evening we explored the town and found the most incredible carpet store before ending one of our final nights in Turkey at a traditional Turkish dance performance.

All you need to know about CAPPADOCIA, TURKEY
Have you ever imagine to visit an almost untouched kind of heaven? Turkey can make your dream come true.
Taking a one-hour flight from Istanbul to Kaisery you would find yourself in the middle of Cappadocia. The landscape is just stunning. You would fill as if you are on the moon! So worth a visit!
Cappadocia, Turkey
Turkey - From Istanbul's otogar (that's bus station to English speakers), I boarded an overnight coach, arriving in Cappadocia at the crack of dawn. in the town of Göreme. People have been carving homes into the rocks of this surreal landscape for ages. And what did I do after a night on a bus without sleep, but go hiking for hours. I walked the Rose Valley to Çavusin, catching a dolmus back. The next day, I tramped the Pigeon Valley (devoid of pigeons) to the castle-like Uçhsar. A busy day next. A plunge into the depths of Derinkuyu, the underground city, which once housed thousands. Then a stroll through the Ilhara Gorge, with monasteries carved into the cliff sides. Finally, ascending the heights of Selime Monastery. Back to another otogar to depart as I arrived. On another overnight coach. The musical accompaniment is Menouthis by E. S. Posthumus and Pompeii also by E. S. Posthumus. Created: 31 October 2009

Definitely, One of my FAVORITE!
Cappadocia is a beautiful region in central Turkey famous for its fairytale scenery, caves, dwellings, remarkable rock formations and. of course, the hundreds of hot air balloons that soar up in the sky during sunrise in the morning. There is also so much hiking destinations in the region for all of us to explore. Enjoy watching!

There is a lot of options for you to choose from but riding a local plane (pegasus) is the quickest!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
