Bosanski Maglić and Trnovačko jezero in Bosnia and Herzegovina
EN:
Summer hike to highest mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Bosanski Maglić (2386m). On the way back we went around the most beautiful tarn of the Balkans, Trnovačko lake (1517m).
We started way up from Tjentište village to Prijevor (1668) by car. The locals use offroad cars, but our combi also managed it. But in the rain it would be worse, it is a 20km dirt road.
From Prijevor leads a well-marked route, at the end before the summit is something like a mini ferrata. Ropes and anchors looking new. They were there mainly for a good feeling, it really is no climbing. Somewhere I read that it is 2 UIAA. I would not say more than 1. And only for a few meters.
Overall, a whole hike took us about 7 hours at a quiet pace.

SK:
Výstup sme začali vyvezením z dedinky Tjentište do sedla Prijevor (1668).
Celkovo nám to v pokojnom tempe trvalo cca 7 hodín.

Maglić i Perućica - zadivljujuća ljepota netaknute prirode
Cvijeće bukvalno niče iz snijega a u pozadini planinske gromade- Maglić, Sniježnica, Volujak, prošarane upola otopljenim bijelim pokrivačem.

Perućica - Primeval Forest in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Sutjeska National Park is Bosnia and Herzegovina's largest and oldest national park, having been established in 1962. Certainly the most precious gem of National Park Sutjeska is the Strict Nature Reserve Perućica. The Perućica forest reserve was established in 1952, as Natural reserve for scientific and educational purposes. It is one of the rarely preserved rainforests of Europe and one of the last two remaining primeval forests on the Old Continent.
Perućica Forest Reserve is 6km (3.7mi) long and 1–3km (0.62–1.86mi) wide and has an area of about 1,400 hectares (3,500 acres). It is a UNESCO recognized site. The forest has many trees that are over 300 years old and the primeval forest's vintage is stated to be 20,000 years. In some stretches, the forest is almost impregnable.
Skakavac waterfall, formed on the Perućica - a mountain creek - is located deep within the primeval forest. It is one of the highest waterfalls in the country at about 75 meters (246 ft) and it is hidden deep within the Perućica primeval forest and its massive blanket of green trees of beech and spruce that engulf entire valley.

Piva River Canyon Road /Northwest of Montenegro near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina E762 M18
Foča - Šćepan Polje - Plužine
Piva Canyon Road, part of the European route E 762, in the northwest of Montenegro near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The road is asphalted and still remains an adrenaline-pumping journey, following the Piva Canyon, cut between the mountains of Bioč, Volujak, Maglić and Pivska planina. The canyon is 33 km long, deep up to 1.200 m, in the Piva, one of few most spectacular rivers in Montenegro.
The road encompasses miles of stunning views through twisty hair pin corners, high elevations and steep grades. The road goes through many rocky tunnels through the rocks of the canyon, near the lake.
The asphalted road, also known as M18, runs along the Lake Piva reservoir, the second largest lake in Montenegro. It’s the result of the construction of the Mratinje Dam on the Piva River in 1975. The dam is 220m (720 ft) high, and therefore one of the highest in Europe and the view from the top is astonishing.
