Magura National Park (Polish: Magurski Park Narodowy) is a National Park located in the south-east of Poland, close to Slovakia, on the boundary of Lesser Poland Voivodeship and Subcarpathian Voivodeship. It covers the main part of the upper basin of the Wisłoka river. When the Park was created in 1995 it covered 199.62 km², although it is now only 194.39 km2 (75.05 sq mi), of which 185.31 km² is forest.
The Park takes its name from the massif known as Magura Wątkowska, after Wątkowa, its highest peak. Magura is also the name of the second-highest peak of this massif.
Wolny Las - tworzymy pierwszą w Polsce Strefę Wolnej Ziemi (Free Earth Zone - crowdfunding campaign)
Wolny Las to inicjatywa mająca na celu wykupienie ponad 5 hektarów lasu w Beskidzie Niskim, zwrócenie mu wolności i otoczenie ochroną.
Oznacza to m.in. wieczyste zaprzestanie eksploatacji lasu (wycinki) oraz zakaz polowań.

Na terenie Wolnego Lasu nie będzie prowadzona żadna działalność mająca na celu jego eksploatację. Nigdy nie zostanie wycięte ani jedno drzewo, a teren zostanie wyłączony z obwodu łowieckiego, co oznacza, że nie będą tam prowadzone polowania.
Wolny Las stanie się terenem, na którym będziemy mogli doświadczać bycia w naturze w sposób inny, niż dotychczas. Zmieniając status z właściciela Ziemi na współuczestnika życia, następuje głęboka przemiana świadomości, umożliwiająca doświadczenie głębokiego kontaktu z rzeczywistością.
Na terenie Wolnego Lasu będziemy prowadzić zajęcia inicjatywy Bycie w Lesie ( facylitujące proces powrotu do Natury, takie jak odosobnienia kontemplacyjne i warsztaty głębokiej ekologii – z pełnym poszanowaniem wszystkich istot zamieszkujących ten las.
Sukces zbiórki nie będzie oznaczał końca projektu Wolny Las, ale jego początek.
Planujemy rozszerzać Strefę Wolnej Ziemi na okoliczne lasy, tworząc w ten sposób zalążek nowego sposobu traktowania Ziemi. Mamy nadzieję, że ta akcja będzie dla każdego z Was inspiracją do tworzenia Stref Wolnej Ziemi w całej Polsce.
Z czasem powstanie sieć wzajemnie wspierających się Stref Wolnej Ziemi a idea zakorzeni się w świadomości nowego pokolenia.
Nie widzimy siebie jako nowych właścicieli tego lasu, ale jako opiekunów. Jak dzieci opiekujące się chorą matką, która dzięki temu zaczyna wracać do zdrowia.

We want to buy over 5 hectares of forest in beautiful region in the mountains in the south of Poland to return its freedom and create the first Free Earth Zone in Poland.

No activities aimed at its exploitation will be carried out in the Free Forest. Not a single tree will be cut down, and hunting will be prohibited.
The Free Forest will become an area where we can experience being in nature in a different way than before. Changing the status from the owner of the Earth to a participant in life, there is a deep transformation of consciousness, enabling the experience of deep contact with reality.
In the Free Forest we will conduct retreats of the Being in the Forest initiative ( facilitating the process of returning to Nature, such as contemplative retreats and deep ecology workshops - with full respect for all creatures living in this forest.
The success of the collection will not mean the end of the Free Forest project, but its beginning.
We plan to extend the Free Earth Zone to the surrounding forests, thus creating the nucleus of a new way of treating the Earth. We hope that this action will be an inspiration for each of you to create Free Earth Zones throughout Poland and all other places in the world.
Over time, a network of mutually supportive Free Earth Zones will be created and the idea will take root in the consciousness of the new generation.
We do not see ourselves as new owners of this forest, but as guardians. Like children caring for a sick mother, who thanks to this begins to recover.
