भगवान के प्रति श्रद्धा जाहिर करते हुए लोगों को आपने मंदिर में सोने चांदी के जेवर भेंट करते तो बहुत देखा होगा, लेकिन क्या आपको पता है कि एक मंदिर ऐसा भी है जहां आने वाले भक्तों को प्रसाद के रूप में सोने के जेवर मिलते हैं। इस खास प्रसाद को पाने के लिए इस मंदिर में भक्तों की भारी भीड़ भी जुटती है।
1 मध्य प्रदेश के रतलाम शहर में स्थित मानक चोक पर महालक्ष्मी जी के मंदिर मे अद्वभूत नजारे देखने को मिल रहे हैं हर साल की तरह इस बार भी भक्तों की भीड़ देखने को मिल रही है। कई लोग मंदिर मे अपनी मन्नते लेकर आते है जिसे महालक्ष्मी पूरी करती हैं
मध्य प्रदेश के रतलाम में यह सुप्रसिद्ध महालक्ष्मी मंदिर है। इस मंदिर में साल भर लोगों का ताता लगा रहता है, लेकिन साल में कुछ दिन के लिए इस मंदिर में कुबेर का दरबार लगता है। साल भर में यहां आकर भक्त करोड़ों रुपए के जेवर और नकदी चढ़ाते हैं। खासतौर पर धनतेरस से लेकर दिवाली के दिन माता का दरबार सोने चांदी और नोटों की माला से सजा हुआ नजर आता है, लेकिन यहां आने वाले इस दौरान खाली नहीं जाते।
इस मंदिर में दिवाली के बाद जाने वाले भक्तों को प्रसाद के रूप में आभूषण और नकदी बांट दिए जाते हैं। इस प्रसाद को पाने के लिए दूर दूर से लोग यहां पहुंचते हैं। हालांकि यहां से मिलने वाले इस प्रसाद को लोग शगुन और शुभ मानकर हमेशा अपने पास रखते हैं और कभी खर्च नहीं करते।
सैकड़ों साल पुराने मंदिर के चढ़ावे का पूरा हिसाब रखा जाता है, ताकि भक्तों को उनका पैसा वापस मिल सके। सुरक्षा के लिहाज से यहां सीसीटीवी कैमरे के साथ पुलिस का सख्त पहरा भी रहता है।
मन्दिर के पुजारी का कहना है, महालक्ष्मी अपने भक्तो को कभी कोई तकलीफ नहीं होने देती। मंदिर के पूजारी संजय ने रफतार न्यूज को बताया कि मानक चोक रतलाम मे स्थित महालक्ष्मी जी का मंदिर मंे प्रशासन के द्वारा अच्छा सहयोग मिलता है। इस मंदिर का निर्माण प्राचीन समय मंे हुआ है जिसमे हम 6 पीढ़ियों से पूजा करते हुए चले आ रहे है। मंदिर ही सरकारी विभाग मंे स्थित है जहा पर 8 गार्ड नियूक्त किये गये हैं

The golden temple complex inside the Sripuram (Tamil: திருபுரம்) spiritual park is situated at the foot of a small range of green hills at Thirumalaikodi (or simply Malaikodi) village, 8 km from Vellore in Tamil Nadu, India. It is 120 km from Tirupati, 145 km from [Chennai]], 160 km from Puducherry and 200 km from Bengaluru. maha kumbhabhishekam consecration of the temple and its chief deity, Sri Lakshmi Narayani, where held on 24 August 2007, where devotees from all religions are welcome to visit. This temple is gilded with 1500 kg pure gold, twice more than the 750 kg gilding of another Golden Temple at AmritSARThe salient feature of 'Sripuram' is the Lakshmi Narayani temple whose Vimanam and Ardha Mandapam is covered with pure gold, housing the deity Sri Lakshmi Narayani (female consort of Vishnu Narayana). The temple is located on 100 acres of land and has been constructed by the Vellore-based religious trust 'Sri Narayani Peedam', headed by its female spiritual leader 'Sri Sakthi Amma' also known as 'Narayani Amma'.

Design[edit]
The temple with its gold (1500 kg) covering, has intricate work done by artisans specialising in temple art using gold. Every single detail was manually created, including converting the gold chunks into gold foils and then mounting the foils on copper. Gold foil from 9 layers to 10 layers has been mounted on the etched copper plates. Every single detail in the temple art has significance from the vedas.[2]

Sripuram's design features a star-shaped path (Sri chakra), positioned in the middle of the lush green landscape, with a length of over 1.8 km. As one walks along this 'starpath' to reach the temple in the middle, one can also read various spiritual messages -- such as the gift of the human birth itself, and the value of spirituality -- along the way.

Hospital[edit]
The Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre is a general hospital located near the Sripuram temple complex and is also run by the 'Sri Narayani Peedam' Charitable Trust.
