महामाया मंदिर छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के बिलासपुर जिले में रतनपुर नगर में स्थित है। यह स्मारक छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य द्वारा संरक्षित है। यह मंदिर ५१ शक्तिपीठों में से एक है यह मंदिर लगभग १२वीं शताब्दी में निर्मित माना जाता है। मंदिर के अंदर महामाया माता का मंदिर है। वैसे तो सालभर यहां भक्तों का तांता लगा रहता है लेकिन मां महमाया देवी मंदिर के लिए नवरात्रों में मुख्य उत्सव, विशेष पूजा-अर्चना एवं देवी के अभिषेक का आयोजन किया जाता है।
बिलासपुर से रतनपुर - 25km की दूरी पर है बिलासपुर रेलवे स्टेशन से हर 1 घण्टे मे सिटी बस चलता रहता है यह पर आप बस से भी जा सकते है ।
व रायपुर से रतनपुर लगभग 140km की दूरी पर स्थित है तो दोस्तो यह आईये ओर बताइये की केस है रतनपुर हमे कमेंट करे और वीडियो को शेयर करे ।

रायपुर स्थित महामाया मंदिर से जुड़ी है लोगों की अटूट आस्था, रोचक है इसकी कहानी

पुरानी बस्ती महामाया मंदिर में मां महामाया का दरबार कई मायनों में खास है। एक तो इस बात को लेकर कि गर्भगृह में मां की प्रतिमा दरवाजे की सीध में नहीं दिखती। इसे लेकर कई किवदंतियां हैं। ऐसी ही एक किंवदंती के मुताबिक कलचुरी वंश के राजा मोरध्वज की भूल के कारण ऐसा हुआ है।
किंवदंती ऐसी है कि राजा मोरध्वज सेना के साथ खारुन नदी तट पर पहुंचे। यहां उन्हें मां महामाया की प्रतिमा दिखाई दी। राजा करीब पहुंचे तो उन्हें सुनाई दिया कि मां उनसे कुछ कह रही हैं। मां ने कहा कि वे रायपुर नगर के लोगों के बीच रहना चाहती हैं। इसके लिए मंदिर तैयार किया जाए। राजा ने माता के आदेश का पालन करते हुए पुरानी बस्ती में मंदिर तैयार करवाया। मां ने राजा से कहा था कि वह उनकी प्रतिमा को अपने कंधे पर रखकर मंदिर तक ले जाएं। रास्ते में प्रतिमा को कहीं रखें नहीं। अगर प्रतिमा को कहीं रखा तो मैं वहीं स्थापित हो जाऊंगी। राजा ने मंदिर पहुंचने तक प्रतिमा को कहीं नहीं रखा लेकिन मंदिर के गर्भगृह में पहुंचने के बाद वे मां की बात भूल गए और जहां स्थापित किया जाना था, उसके पहले ही एक चबूतरे पर रख दिया। बस प्रतिमा वहीं स्थापित हो गई। राजा ने प्रतिमा को उठाकर निर्धारित जगह पर रखने की कोशिश की लेकिन नाकाम रहे। प्रतिमा को रखने के लिए जो जगह बनाई गई थी वह कुछ ऊंचा स्थान था। इसी वजह से मां की प्रतिमा चौखट से तिरछी दिखाई पड़ती है।
जानकारों के मुताबिक मंदिर का निर्माण राजा मोरध्वज ने तांत्रिक विधि से करवाया था। इसकी बनावट से भी कई रहस्य जुड़े हुए हैं। मंदिर के गर्भगृह के बाहरी हिस्से में दो खिड़कियां एक सीध पर हैं। सामान्यतः दोनों खिड़कियों से मां की प्रतिमा की झलक नजर आनी चाहिए लेकिन ऐसा नहीं होता। दाईं तरफ की खिड़की से मां की प्रतिमा का कुछ हिस्सा नजर आता है परंतु बाईं तरफ नहीं।
मंदिर से जुड़ा इतिहास प्रमाणिक है। इस पर पं. रविशंकर शुक्ल विश्वविद्यालय के इतिहास विभाग ने कई रिसर्च किए हैं। शासन के पुरातत्व विभाग ने मंदिर के इतिहास को प्रमाणिक किया है। मंदिर के इतिहास पर सबसे पहले 1977 में महामाया महत्तम नामक किताब लिखी गई। इसके बाद मंदिर ट्रस्ट ने 1996 में इसका संशोधिक अंक प्रकाशित करवाया। 2012 में मंदिर की ओर से प्रकाशित की गई रायपुर का वैभव श्री महामाया देवी मंदिर को इतिहासकारों ने प्रमाणिक किया है। सभी किवदंतियों और जनश्रुति का उल्लेख प्रमाणिक किताबों में मिलता है।
मंदिर में हर साल नवरात्र पर आस्था के ज्योत जगमगाते हैं। कई ज्योत मुस्लिम परिवारों के भी हैं। मंदिर के पुजारी पं. शुक्ला बताते हैं कि मंदिर से मुस्लिम परिवारों की आस्था भी जुड़ी हुई हैं। मंदिर में इस साल 9403 मनोकामना ज्योत प्रज्जवलित किए गए हैं। ज्योत जलवाने वालों में देश-प्रदेश के साथ ही अमेरिका, लंदन, जापान और चीन के लोग भी शामिल हैं।
माता के मंदिर के बाहरी हिस्से में सम्लेश्वरी देवी का भी मंदिर है। मंदिर में सूर्योदय के समय किरणें सम्लेश्वरी माता के गर्भगृह तक पहुंचती हैं। सूर्यास्त के समय सूर्य की किरणें मां महामाया के गर्भगृह में उनके चरणों को स्पर्श करती हैं। मंदिर की डिजाइन से यह अंदाजा लगाना बेहद मुश्किल है कि प्रतिमा तक सूर्य की किरणें पहुंचती कैसे होंगी। मंदिर के गुंबद के आकार में श्री यंत्र है। ऐसे में पौराणिक मान्यता है कि मंदिर के साथ दिव्य शक्तियां जुड़ी हुई हैं। तांत्रिकीय पद्धति से बनने वाले मंदिरों में इस तरह की विशेषता पाई जाती है।
