In india Jhansi contains rich heritage as it has so many old monuments but with time either they are vanishing or people don't know about them till now in detail. Thus, we thought to launch our new show that will be helpful in telling you about the lost history of Jhansi and near by cities around it.
Today you will get to know about Maharaj Gangadhar Rao's Chattri or Samadhi. This Samadhi is situated outside Laxmi gate near old Laxmi temple. It is 5.5 km from railway station and 2 km from Jhansi fort. Watch out the full video it will really be an awesome experience.

झांसी के नाम के साथ जो नाम ध्यान में आता हैं वो हैं रानी लक्ष्मी बाई का,लेकिन लक्ष्मी बाई के मनु से झाँसी रानी तक के सफर में साथ देने वाले उनके पति के नाम को अब तक काफी भुलाया जा चूका है. लेकिनझांसी पहुँचने पर महाराजा गंगाधर राव की छतरी के बारे में पता चलता हैं,जिससे लक्ष्मीबाई के पति के बारे में जिज्ञासा जागृत होना स्वाभाविक हैं. यह छतरी लक्ष्मीबाई द्वारा बनवाई गयी हैं. यह झांसी के महत्वपूर्णऐतोहासिक स्थलों में से एक हैं. वास्तव में रानी लक्ष्मी बाई से पहले महाराजा गंगाधार राव नेवलकर झांसी के महाराजा थे,झांसी जो की अभी उत्तर प्रदेश में है,तब बुंदेलखंड का हिस्सा हुआ करता था,महाराजागंगाधर राव एक न्यायप्रिय,जनप्रिय और कुशल शासक थे.

रानी लक्ष्मी बाई वीरता पुरस्कार सम्मान

समाज की बेहतरी के लिए अदम्य साहस दिखाने वाली महिलाओं और बालिकाओं को सीएम योगी ने गुरुवार को रानी लक्ष्मी बाई वीरता पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया। लखनऊ के लोकभवन में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में सीएम ने 15 लोगों को पुरस्कार दिया। अन्य लोगों को महिला एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्री रीता बहुगुणा जोशी और राज्यमंत्री स्वाति सिंह समेत अन्य मंत्रियों ने पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया। इस मौके पर धर्मनाथ मिश्र व उस्ताद सखावत हुसैन खान को बेगम अख्तर पुरस्कार भी दिया गया। कार्यक्रम में सीएम योगी ने कहा कि हम सबके लिए प्रसन्नता का क्षण है कि एक साथ इतनी महिलाओं को सम्मानित करने का अवसर मिला है। पुरस्कार के लिए चयन अपने और पराए के आधार पर नहीं बल्कि उनके अपने-अपने क्षेत्र में किए गए योगदान के आधार पर किया गया है।
