Maharloo Lake دریاچه مهارلو, also known as Salt lake درياچه نمك is a seasonal salt lake in the highlands of the area of Shiraz, Iran.
27.0 km (16.8 mi) southeast of Shiraz, the lake salt is rich in potassium and other salts.
Dry river رودخانه خشك, a seasonal river flowing through the city of Shiraz, brings most of the flood water to the lake bed during intensive precipitation events.
The lake water typically evaporates by the end of summer and exposes the white lake bed. By mid-summer and due to high evaporation rates and salt concentrations, the lake water turns pinkish red as a result of the red tide within the lake.

In summer the lake usually dry out but that makes it much more unique and in winter or early spring there is water .. the color of water changes due to amount of salt so you may see it blue,pink,white or even red

Lake Bakhtegan دریاچه بختگان is a salt lake in Fars Province, southern Iran, about 160 km (99 mi) east of Shiraz and 15 km (9.3 mi) west of the town of Neyriz.
Bakhtegan, with a surface area of 3,500 square kilometres (1,400 sq mi), is Iran's second-largest lake. It is fed by the Kor River. Several dams on the Kor River have significantly reduced waterflow into the lake, increasing its salinity and endangering the lake's populations of flamingos and other migratory birds.
