Gupteswar temple in koraput district is one of glorious place. Many followers visit here including foreign visitors. This place is situated near Ramgiri village. This place is surrounded by many solid rocks, jungle, mountain and river. Very enjoyable and beautiful place. The charm of this place will mesmerise all. You can do a lot sightseeing here. Apart from the main gupteswar temple, there are many more caves with many hidden shiv ling with many mysterious things.

Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave in Pokhara, Nepal is believed to be 5000 years old. On entering the cave you see an idol of Lord Shiva which is made naturally.
Mahendra Cave and Bat Cave, Pokhara.
The two popular caves of Pokhara that is mahendra cave and Bat Cave has been videoed. The first video goes into the beautiful mahendra cave park and then goes inside the dark, wet and slippery Mahendra Gufa. There are rock formations and lime stones. Water can be seen dropping from the top. There is also a temple with the priest inside the cave. It’s not to long. About 10 minutes you will be in and out of the mahendra cave. After mahendra cave the video goes on to another cave called Bat Cave nearby mahendra Cave. This cave is bit harder to go in. You can see plenty of bats hanging from the cave top. This is the reason the name comes as Bat cave. When you go inside the cave get yourself a good flash light. Bring the light by yourself or you can rent from the ticket counter too. A sacred cave that houses a Shiva Temple, the Gupteshwar Gufa is an experience by itself. Although dark and dingy, the caves are beautiful from inside and offer amazing views of the nearby waterfall. The Shivalinga inside the cave is said to bein the same condition since it was explored. This shrine is said to have certain healing powers which attracts a number of visitors throughout the year.
Also known as Patale Chhango, this waterfall marks the point where the Pardi Khola stream vanishes underground. When the stream is at full bore after monsoon rains, the sound of the water plunging over the falls is deafening.
