The Most Remarkable City in the USA: Buffalo, NY
Buffalo, NY is a remarkable city that I am proud to have called home for the last 10+ years of my life. I moved to Buffalo for college and fell in love with the sense of community almost immediately.
Buffalo is special; it makes people feel seen. It is known as the City of Good Neighbors because people have pride in the city. They work hard because they want to better the overall community.

Curtiss Hotel Buffalo, NY Review - Renee Romeo
Here is my video review of the Curtiss Hotel Buffalo.
My video review of the Curtiss Hotel Buffalo may shock you! Can a boutique hotel in downtown Buffalo really save the city? I’m sure that’s what renovators are hoping for. With many cities in crisis all over the United States, it’s shocking that wealthy investors want to put their cash into propping up markets that have seen better days. The Curtiss Hotel is built inside of the renovated historic landmark Harlow C. Curtiss building located at 210 Franklin Street in Downtown Buffalo, NY. It has recently opened its 68 luxurious, high-tech rooms after a $24,000,000 renovation.
Is this hotel a destination?
The Curtiss hotel is only 20 miles away from Niagara Falls , one of the largest tourist areas in the Northeast. For me, it’s an easy two hour drive from my hometown of Syracuse, New York. The hotel is easily accessible by the New York State Thruway system and offers view of lake Erie from it’s rooftop lounge. It’s in the heart of the city with easy access to its convention center, green spaces, restaurants, and waterfront. In other words, there’s plenty see and do.
Do they have their act together a mere month after their soft opening?
The Curtiss Hotel is a top notch renovation that has left no corner untouched. Dream Designs & More is responsible for the interior design of this building and has done an exceptional job of bringing life to the posh interior. Beauty aside, it’s really the staff that sets a hotel property apart from it’s competition and this hotel is no exception. Were they as polished as the hotel itself or did they detract from my experience? I will tell you what to expect and how to prepare for your stay. You will know EXACTLY how it went.

6 weeks later after moving to buffalo.
After 6 weeks of being here what am I doing now ?
Western New York is ready to LEGALIZE!!
This video is also on CNN's iReport
Hello, my name is Frank from Buffalo NY.
I am going to keep this short to start.
I am a cannabis activist.
Weed, pot, marijuana, or my personal favorite slang Ganja simply because it sounds awesome. No matter what you call it, It is a miracle plant.
I find something new about it every single day.
I am not a 'pothead' in fact this past Friday was the first time I smoked in 2 weeks. As you can see, other than a slightly stuffy nose from seasonal allergies I'm totally fine. No withdraw symptoms, I'm not in agonizing pain nor do I feel a need to 'get a fix'. I have ADHD and take Adderal for those symptoms; I also have a rare form of Esophagitis. I have had 3 throat dilations, and I used to take Flovent prescribed by my doctor. I stopped taking that and started using Cannabis recreationally. Now, 5 years later I know much more about the plant and I am on a mission to learn as much as I possibly can. I am actively promoting NYS senate bill S 2774 to pass medical marijuana for the state and you bet I'll be one of the first to be applying for a medical card. I feel as a United States citizen it is my entitlement, my right to be able to use cannabis not just as a medicine but also for whatever reason I see fit. I'm sick of the lies, I'm sick of the hypocrisy. I SMOKE MARIJUANA and I have every right to say that out loud. Cannabis is my passion; I love everything about the plant. Follow me on CNN's iReport for interesting news and facts as well as video and text responses to all sorts of news stories on the topic, especially ones that are of course broadcasted by CNN. Thank you for watching and have a fantastic day
