5. Greenville, South Carolina
If you’re a foodie, you’ll probably want to make a stop in Greenville, South Carolina at some point in your life. Greenville has a population of around 67,000, but they cook and eat more like a big city. There are burger joints, pizza parlors, bars, and fancy restaurants galore—about 120 locally-owned spots—in just a 10-block radius! But food isn’t the only great thing you’ll find in Greenville; this small city where you can pack in the calories, you can also burn them off too. Walk or bike the Swamp Rabbit Trail, which is a serene, woodsy trail that leads to the nearby town of Travelers Rest. Head out to Caesar’s Head State Park, where you can hike, bike, camp, picknick, make your way to one of six majestic waterfalls, and even tackle a suspension bridge. Greenville is perfect for those of all ages, so bring your appetite and your hiking boots and make some memories that are sure to last forever.
4. Asbury Park, New Jersey
This old town that was once known for being a bit run-down and grungy is an impressive wonderland that earns it a place high on this list. It’s the town that never sells out, but continuously provides a fantastic bar scene, incredible live music, and a diverse array of foods that are sure to please the taste buds. It’s a cultural center on the Jersey Shore where music happens night after night in some of the same locations that nurtured acts like Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band. There are bars with sandy patios where dogs are always welcome, restaurants with foods of all kinds in flavors from all around the world, festivals, shows, and all-night parties that are sure to impress and leave one reeling in awe over just how cool this little town really is.
3. Flagstaff, Arizona
If you were blindfolded and dropped off in Flagstaff, you would probably have no idea that you were even in Arizona unless somebody told you. You’d find yourself in a beautiful mountain town that more resembles the northern parts of Idaho or Colorado than the Saguaro-covered desert one thinks of when Arizona comes up in their mind’s eye. It’s an exciting and fun place to be, with hippies, artists, and college kids making up the majority of the population, and snow-capped mountains that paint a breathtaking backdrop. It’s also got its unbeatable location for it being just an hour from the Grand Canyon, thirty miles from the world-famous Sedona, and just a walk from some of the best nature you could imagine. There are breweries galore, restaurants to rave about, and shops a-plenty located downtown, and it’s home to one of the oldest and coolest locations to view the stars in the United States, Lowell Observatory.
2. Bozeman, Montana
If you’re looking for mountains and majesty, Bozeman, Montana is one of the best places to get them. The small city is home to just over 46,500 people and rests at 5,000 feet while still being surrounded by mountains. There are endless outdoor activities you can find in the area, such as horseback riding, swimming, hiking, fishing, camping, and so much more. It’s also just an hour and a half drive from Yellowstone National Park, thirty minutes from small, cozy ski resorts, or an hour by car from the larger Big Sky Ski Resort. Montana State University calls Bozeman it's home, which gives the town that cool, college feel, with tons of great restaurants, brewpubs, and shops, as well as a handful of museums that are sure to impress.

Scenic Arizona State Route 89A to Sedona, AZ
A beautiful journey from Flagstaff, Arizona, through the mountains and into the hikers paradise known as Sedona! One of the most scenic drives in Arizona.
Sedona Arizona Road Trip, Highway 89A
After landing at the Sedona Airport we drive through downtown Sedona in search of a Mexican restaurant named the Javelina Cantina Sedona. The food was great and the salsa was fantastic. Really enjoyed it. After that we left Sedona and traveled on Arizona 89A up to Flagstaff where our hotel was. The story I'm telling about a crash at the airport happened on october 8th , 2013 as we were inbound and forced us to divert to Flagstaff. A single engine Mooney was landing on runway 21 with a strong gusty wind and he touched down fast and long. The pilot then tried to go around. On either end of the runway is a drop off and the Mooney and it's 3 occupants went off the edge, 250 feet down the side of the mountain. Fortunately all three survived but, the airport was closed till the next day. Things to do in Sedona AZ.

Top 10 Best Places To Visit In Usa || Top 10 Places to Visit in united states
number 10 : Sedona and the Grand Canyon : An incredible geological wonder stretching over 200 miles, the Grand Canyon is a deep ravine carved out by the Colorado River over thousands of years. Located in the state of Arizona, the Grand Canyon is a top destination to visit in the Southwest and one of the most popular of U.S. National Parks. Take a drive of about two hours south of the Grand Canyon to Sedona, which is surrounded by stone formations of many colors that change with the light. USA Weekend called it one of the most beautiful places in America. Amid this spectacular landscape, you'll find great eating, luxurious lodging, and loads of art galleries and shops.
9 : Hawaii : Say aloha to Hawaii, a top U.S. destination that's a quintessential island paradise. From the natural beauty of its beaches and volcanoes to its rich Pacific culture, Hawaii is the perfect destination if you're looking to really get away from it all. It's definitely a relaxing oasis with perfect weather no matter when you decide to go; average highs range from 79 F in the winter to 84 in high summer, with average lows of 68 in the winter and 75 in the summer. Go hiking on the island of Kauai, see humpback whales in Maui, or play with fire at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
8 : Asheville, North Carolina : Asheville sits right on the Blue Ridge Parkway, with its spectacular views across the southern Appalachians, and the Appalachian Trail, which runs right down Main Street. Its proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains makes it a great jumping-off point for hiking or just jaw-dropping drives through the mountains. Rent a convertible for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In town, check out the Biltmore, the largest home in America, built by Goerge W. Vanderbilt in the Gilded Age. It makes for jaw-dropping of a different sort. Spend evenings in downtown Asheville, which is bursting with music, art, and restaurants worthy of serious foodies.
7 : New Orleans : New Orleans is all about festivals, French roots, and a laissez-faire attitude, making it a distinctly different—and popular—destination for both American and international travelers. From Mardi Gras, New Orleans' biggest party, to Jazz Fest, one of the world's most respected gatherings of jazz musicians, there are plenty of ways to let the good times roll in the Big Easy. For the most authentic experience, stay in the French Quarter, where you'll be close to legendary restaurants and legendary streets, like Bourbon. And it's just a short drive from Frenchman Street, where you can hear the music New Orleans is famous for.
6 : San Francisco : Symbolized by the red rafters of the Golden Gate Bridge, this legendary city on San Francisco Bay is known for its neighborhoods, like Chinatown and the hippie-turned-haute enclave of Haight-Ashbury. While San Francisco is an ideal city for nature lovers as well as the jet set, it is also a great jumping-off point for trips to the wine country of Napa Valley and Sonoma County or to the colossal tech campuses of Silicon Valley. Check out the Bay Area's top hotel deals on TripAdvisor before you go and make San Francisco your base to discover Northern California.
