Main Tower is a 56-storey, 200 m (656 ft) skyscraper in the Innenstadt district of Frankfurt, Germany. It is named after the nearby Main river. The building is 240 m (787 ft) when its antenna spire is included.
The tower has five underground floors and two public viewing platforms. It is the only skyscraper in Frankfurt with a public viewing observatory. It is the 4th tallest building in Frankfurt and the 4th tallest in Germany, tied with Tower 185.

Niki and I traveled to Frankfurt in 3 days ago and we spent 2 and half days there. This Vlog is about the first day in Frankfurt. In fact we only had half day to walk around as we arrived at 4 pm. Therefore, we just visited the Main Tower but we were very impressed.

As for the hotel Bliss, I booked it on Hotel.com. it is a 4 star hotel but the price is relatively affordable in which costs only 140 euros for two night with breakfast. The location is wonderful because it is about 4 mins away from the Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof. If you are interested about this hotel, you can click the link below.

The main tower in Frankfurt is 200 meters high and the fourth tallest building in Frankfurt. I go to the lobby and through the security check. I take the elevator to the observation deck. I tell about the other skyscrapers of Frankfurt. Definitely worth a visit.

Die zehn höchsten Häuser Deutschlands stehen alle in Frankfurt am Main. Sie sind alle deutlich höher als 150m und tragen daher zu Recht die Bezeichnung Wolkenkratzer.
Das vierthöchste Hochhaus ist der MAIN TOWER. Zur Jahrtausendwende fertig gestellt hat er 56 Obergeschosse und zwei öffentlich zugängliche Aussichtsplattformen auf 198m Höhe.
Im 63. OG befinden sich MAIN TOWER Restaurant und Bar.
Mit dem Aufzug dauert die Fahrt nach oben 45 Sekunden. Zügig beschleunigt der Aufzug auf 18 km/h. Der Fortschritt wird den Fahrgästen auf einem Display angezeigt. Von der hohen Geschwindigkeit des Aufzugs merkt man als Fahrgast nichts.
Im Zentrum der Aussichtsplattform befindet sich ein Sendemast des Hessischen Rundfunks. Seine Spitze befindet sich auf 240m Höhe.
Von der großen Aussichtsplattform hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick über Frankfurt am Main und die Umgebung.
Eine Familie mit zwei Kindern zahlt für den Besuch der Plattform 17,50 € Eintritt.

656-feet, is equivalent to 200-meters...and though in the video the elevator shows us reaching 190-meters, or 625-feet, after getting off of the elevator there was a short flight of stairs to climb as to reach the observatory platform, which is at 656-feet, 200-meters.
The wind at this height was blowing hard, so please excuse the camera shaking every now and again.

This structure was built between 1996 and 1999, and serves as headquarters for Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen (Helaba). Other tenants are the German Offices of Merrill Lynch and Standard & Poor's and a television studio of the Hessischer Rundfunk. The first tenants moved in on 5 November 1999, and the official inauguration was 28 January 2000. During weather reports by the television station, the weather reporter stands on the top of the building.
