Greedy Travel in Brittany : Le Manoir de Kermoël

Let’s discover Le Manoir de Kermoël !

Today, I won’t present you an easy recipe or a greedy address, but a lovely place to sleep and stay if you come in Brittany for holidays, owned by English speakers.

Le Manoir de Kermoël is located in the historic village of Kernascléden, in Morbihan. This hamlet of 8 cottages is a very quiet place, with a lovely countryside all around.

We rented The Manor House, the biggest cottage.

Downstairs, you find a large dining table for 8 people and luxurious large leather sofas. The kitchen is fully equipped. The double bedroom has a shower room with toilet. The bathroom has power shower, bath and double glass hand basin. A door leads to the private barbecue terrace. Upstairs, you can find the opened mezzanine with a king size bed, and a bedroom with 4 single beds.

If you want to visit the village, Kernascléden has a beautiful church with a rare danse macabre and exceptional wall paintings. You can also go to La Maison de la Chauve-Souris to learn a lot of things about the bats. They propose La Nuit de la Chauve-souris to see bats hunting by night.

If you want to visit surrounding area, Le Parc du Stérou is a natural park dedicated to cervid species. They aren’t domesticated, but you can have a walk close to them, seeing them in freedom. You can also go to Le Musée de l'Abeille Vivante et la Cité des Fourmis. You’ll discover beehives and bees, as well as ants in original anthills.

After all of this, you’ll just have to enjoy in Manoir de Kermoël the game room and the pool, as we did ! And to finish the day, savour a delicious barbecue !
