Clarendon House - Evendale, Tasmania (VLOG 2)
Clarendon House is a three-story Georgian home built in 1839. It belonged to James Cox and was constructed by convicts in Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania). James Cox was instrumental in the anti-transportation movement.
We love Tasmanian history, so this was a lot of fun.
Today, the house is maintained by the National Trust in Tasmania, and is open to the public for inspection.
Entry was $15 per adult. Children were free.

Local Life: Burnie, TAS
As the roll out of the National Broadband Network gains momentum, we’re taking a look into the lives and businesses of Telstra nbn™ customers across Australia.
Burnie is one of Australia’s oldest and most beautiful cities and boasts an unspoilt cityscape of charming Colonial and Victorian architecture that pays tribute to the city’s elegant history.
One man who has enjoyed Burnie’s charm and elegance for many years is resident Paul Morse.
Paul and his family have been Telstra customers for more than 35 years and connected to the nbn™ in mid-2015. Paul says the nbn™ has not only enhanced their entertainment capabilities and allowed Paul to work more freely from home, it has also improved medical opportunities for his daughter, Louise who needs regular medical consultations to support her health care needs.
Living so far away from her Melbourne-based specialist has proven challenging, but with the nbn™, they’re now able to get essential medical support much more easily than before. The family no longer needs to spend hundreds of dollars in travel costs, with consultations now able to be done over a Skype call.
We visited the Morse family to learn more about how the nbn™ has changed their life for the better.
