The Haunting of the Ceely Rose House - Our Haunted Travels
The Haunting of the Ceely Rose House
Sit back my friends and listen to the tales and stories of the Haunting of the Ceely Rose house located on the grounds of Malabar Farms in Lucas, Ohio. In 1896, Ceely killed her entire family over a crush she had on a neighbor boy. There are those who believe that she still resides at this house.

Searching for Ceely Rose - Paranormal History Profile
Searching for Ceely Rose
Warning: This true story get's a little strange and creepy... On May 30, 2015 we traveled to Lucas, Ohio and one of our stops on this trip (ghost tour/hunt) was the Ceely Rose House. The Ceely Rose house has been featured on one of the major ghost hunting shows, and we found that Malabar Farm in Ohio, actually puts on a ghost tour/hunt during the summer months. We definitely wanted to go in search of Ceely Rose for ourselves. In the late 1893 Ceely Rose killed her father, brother, and mother with poison so that they could not stop her from being married to the neighbor boy, Guy Berry. The only problem was, Guy did not want to marry Ceely Rose and legend says that he told her that they could not be married since their parents wouldn't allow it.
There have been many reports of the apparition of Ceely Rose in and around the grounds of her former home were the crime occurred.
Celia Frances Rose (1873-1934)
Please look for a future video with full EVP recordings that will be posting as an investigation review.
Also, any orbs seen in this pictures are debunked as not being paranormal since it was raining the night we took them and the carpet inside the Ceely Rose house wasn't quiet the cleanest of all carpets.

Lucas, Ohio
Lucas is a village in southeastern Richland County, Ohio, United States. Lucas is part of the Mansfield, Ohio Metropolitan Statistical Area.
David Tucker, a New Hampshire resident, moved to Richland County in 1819, where he set in a proposal to buy land in the rural country of the county. He was granted this proposal in 1824, allowing him to buy land from the state at $1.25 per acre. After purchasing a mass quantity of land from the state, Tucker hired Mr. Steward to survey the land for auctioning out. David's brother, John, was placed in charge as the head attorney authored to sell land to incoming settlers and pioneers in 1829. The auction was advertised in the local handbill The Mansfield Shield and Banner, in which the land was described as as good as a wheat growing country as the state can have. In response to this statement, the land for three major wheat mills was bought that year and mills were built in the following months. The town officially built and commissioned a postal office later that year. In 1830, the Chicago Railroad Company paid for tracks to be laid down on the south side of town of the town as well as a depot. By 1834, the Lucas area was full of houses and shops, becoming a major rural center for Richland County, mostly due to being the first town in the county to receive federal aid in its building because the land where Lucas presided was a campsite of General John Brooks (governor) as he marched north from Mansfield during the War of 1812, thus qualifying it as a historical site at the time. Currently three theories exist on how the Village of Lucas acquired its name:
However the name came to be, the town of Lucas was officially established according to Ohio standards at the time in 1836.
Lucas is located at (40.703773, -82.420024). It lies southeast of Mansfield, a few miles from Interstate 71 on State Route 39. Lucas is surrounded by t...
The Shawshank Redemption Music Video
The Shawshank Redemption is a 1994 American drama film written and directed by Frank Darabont, and starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. Adapted from the Stephen King novella Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption, the film tells the story of Andy Dufresne, a banker who is sentenced to life in Shawshank State Penitentiary for the murder of his wife and her lover, despite his claims of innocence. During his time at the prison, he befriends a fellow inmate, Ellis Boyd Red Redding, and finds himself protected by the guards after the warden begins using him in his money-laundering operation.
Tthe film received multiple award nominations (including seven Oscar nominations) and highly positive reviews from critics for its acting, story, and realism. It is now considered to be one of the greatest films of the 1990s. It has since been successful on cable television, VHS, DVD, and Blu-ray. It was included in the American Film Institute's 100 Years...100 Movies (10th Anniversary Edition).
In 2015, the United States Library of Congress selected the film for preservation in the National Film Registry, finding it culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.
Though the film is set in Maine, the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio, served as the fictional Shawshank State Penitentiary. Although a large portion of the prison was torn down after filming, the main administration building and two cell blocks remained; the site was revisited for filming parts of the film Air Force One. Several of the interior shots of the specialized prison facilities, such as the admittance rooms and the warden's office, were shot in the reformatory. The interior of the boarding room used by Brooks and Red was located in the administration building, though exterior shots were made elsewhere. The prison site is a tourist attraction. Internal scenes in the prison cellblocks were actually filmed on a soundstage built inside the nearby shuttered Westinghouse factory. Downtown scenes were also filmed in Mansfield, as well as neighboring Ashland, Ohio. The oak tree under which Andy buries his letter to Red is located at 40°39′14″N 82°23′31″W, near Malabar Farm State Park, in Lucas, Ohio. The tree was split by lightning on July 29, 2011; officials were unsure if the tree would survive. However, due to rally groups and inspections by forestry organizations, the tree was found to be alive and well.
The tree was completely felled by strong winds on or around July 22, 2016.
Just as a prison in Ohio stood in for a fictional one in Maine, the beach scenes shown in the final minutes of the film meant to portray Zihuatanejo, Mexico, were actually shot in the Caribbean on the island of St. Croix, one of the U.S. Virgin Islands. The beach at ‘Zihuatanejo’ is Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge, a two-mile crescent of sand just south of Frederiksted on the southwestern tip of the island. The refuge is a hatching ground for leatherback sea turtles, and open only at limited times.
The film was dedicated to Allen Greene, an agent and a close personal friend of Darabont.

SUMMARY
=======
The Dutch East India Company (Verenigde Oostindische Compagnie or VOC) is one of the most influential and best expertly researched companies/corporations in history. As an exemplary historical company-state, the VOC had effectively transformed itself from a corporate entity into a state, an empire, or even a world in its own right. The VOC World (i.e. networks of people, places, things, activities, and events associated with the Dutch East India Company) has been the subject of a vast amount of literature that includes both fiction and non-fiction works. VOC World studies is an international multidisciplinary field focused on social, cultural, religious, scientific, technological, economic, financial, business, maritime, military, political, legal, diplomatic activities, institutional organization, and administration of the VOC and its colourful world. Some of the notable VOC historians/scholars include Sinnappah Arasaratnam, Leonard Blussé, Peter Borschberg, Charles Ralph Boxer, Jaap Bruijn, Femme Gaastra, Om Prakash, Günter Schilder, and Nigel Worden.
In terms of global business history, the lessons from the VOC's success and failure are critically important. With a permanent capital base, the VOC was the first permanently organized limited-liability joint-stock company at the dawn of modern capitalism. As an early pioneering model of the modern corporation, the VOC was the first corporation to be ever actually listed on a formal stock exchange. In the early 1600s the VOC became the world's first formally listed public company (or publicly listed company) by widely issuing bonds and shares of stock to the general public. In many respects, modern-day publicly listed multinational corporations (including Forbes Global 2000 companies) are all 'descendants' of the 17th-century VOC business model.
For almost 200 years of its existence (1602–1800), the Company played crucial roles in business, financial, socio-politico-economic, military-political, diplomatic, legal, ethnic, and exploratory maritime history of the world. In the early modern period, the VOC was the driving force behind the rise of corporate-led globalization, corporate power, corporate identity, corporate culture, corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, corporate finance, corporate capitalism, and finance capitalism. It was the VOC's institutional innovations and business practices that laid the foundations for the rise of giant global corporations to become a highly significant and formidable socio-politico-economic force of the modern world as we know it today ...
