This river was taken between baranggay Poctoy and Baranggay Malbog. Years ago it was was affected by the leakage of COPPER from the mining. it was named MARCOPPER mining disaster. The river was poisoned and result deaths of the living creatures of the river. Skin diseases on the nearby resident also causes nightmare on the community. So please lets stop Mining.. Legal nor illegal.

MARINDUQUE EP3 | White Beach | Curba Grill | Hot Spring | Laylay Port | Boac Cathedral
We spent the morning relaxing and swimming. Locals are not the only one whose accommodating, even dogs are friendly too.
We decided to have lunch at Curba Grill first before going to Malbog Sulfuric Hot Spring. If you are really hungry, I suggest to find another place to eat. Because they cook their food well, and they take time in doing it.
Malbog Sulfuric Hot Spring is just a few meters from Curba Grill. The place is located at the foot of an inactive volcano, Mt. Malindig. They say that it's good for the skin because of the therapeutic water component.
We took pictures while the sun is setting at Laylay Fish Port.
Then headed straight to Boac Cathedral to give thanks for making our trip possible, for everything.
An instant surprise birthday dinner was held at Kusina sa Plaza for Randie.
We hurriedly went to the port of Balanacan, we parted ways with Marvin since he'll be going back to his house.
The only RORO available for us was Montenegro, Star Horse' M/V Virgen de Peñafrancia is too good compared to Montenegro's RORO.
Everthing was smooth until Rina's Yellow Ranger broke along the mountains of Victoria. We had to be left behind and stay at Macky's mansion until the Yamaha branch in Lucban opens at 9am.

Marinduque (Tagalog pronunciation: [maɾinˈduke]) is an island province in the Philippines located in Southwestern Tagalog Region or MIMAROPA, formerly designated as Region IV-B. Its capital is the municipality of Boac. Marinduque lies between Tayabas Bay to the north and Sibuyan Sea to the south. It is west of the Bondoc Peninsula of Quezon province; east of Mindoro Island; and north of the island province of Romblon. Some parts of the Verde Island Passage, the center of the center of world's marine biodiversity and a protected marine area, are also within Marinduque's provincial waters.
The province of Marinduque was ranked number 1 by the Philippine National Police and Philippine Security Forces as the 2013 Most Peaceful Province of the country due to its low crime rate statistics alternately ranking with the province of Batanes yearly. Furthermore, for almost 200 years, the province is home to one of the oldest religious festivals of the country, the Moriones celebrated annually every Holy Week.
