Malta Vlog 3 - Valletta (il-Belt) - 2017
We took a dgħajsa (traditional Maltese water taxi) to the capital Valletta. We absolutely loved the amazing Maltese houses with their beautiful doors and balconies. We saw several beautiful churches, including the spectacular St. John's Co-Cathedral.

Malta is a small, but beautiful Mediterranean country. People flock in this place because of the famous Blue Lagoon & historical temples, to name a few. In fact, they have some of the oldest standing monument sites that date back in the Neolithic and Megalithic era.
Traveling to Malta? Here are some places of interest:
- St. Julian's Bay, Sliema
- Valletta (capital of Malta)
- Mdina (Silent City & former capital)
- The Three Cities
- Blue Lagoon
- Comino
- Gozo
- Ghasri Valley
- Ggantija Temples
Special thanks to my Maltese friend, Steph, for taking me around in one of the islands in Malta.

Adventures down deep Into the walls of Valletta, Malta
he fortifications of Valletta (Maltese: Is-Swar tal-Belt Valletta) are a series of defensive walls and other fortifications which surround the capital city of Valletta, Malta. The first fortification to be built was Fort Saint Elmo in 1552, but the fortifications of the city proper began to be built in 1566 when it was founded by Grand Master Jean de Valette. Modifications were made throughout the following centuries, with the last major addition being Fort Lascaris which was completed in 1856. Most of the fortifications remain largely intact today.
