Greg Koch in New Zealand 13 March 2014 - The Malthouse, Wellington
Greg Koch from Stone Brewing Co. visited Wellington, New Zealand on Thursday 13th March 2014. City Tap Takeover - 45 Stone Beers, 50 Taps, 2 Bars, 1 Night. This was the first time fresh from the brewery Stone Beer was available in New Zealand. This is the speech to the craft beer drinkers of Wellington.
West Coast IPA Challenge 2015 - The Malthouse Wellington
The West Coast IPA Challenge was held at The Malthouse in Wellington, New Zealand on the 17th July 2015.
Loads of beer was drunk by lots of people. A winner was announced and the evening was awesome for all who attended.
Darkest Days at The Malthouse
The Malthouse is Wellington's original craft beer bar. Serving local brews since 1994, it has gained a large following of beer advocates old and new. This video is from their annual event, Darkest Days, which features stouts, porters, and dark robust beers.
8th Annual West Coast IPA Challenge
The Malthouse in Wellington offers IPA drinkers a mouth watering event each year. Breweries from around New Zealand submit their best interpretation of US West Coast IPAs. This year there were eight judges, 23 breweries, and hundreds of eager beer enthusiasts.
Four Horsemen of the Hopocalypse 2015 Brew Day at Hallertau
12th of June 2015 (not July as the video states, OOPS!) saw four super brewers come together to form the avengers of the craft beer world. Luke Nicholas from Epic, Joseph Wood from Liberty Brewing, Stephen Plowman from Hallertau and Kelly Ryan from the Fork and Brewer (oh and their Jockey Colin Mallon) all corralled together to do a ridiculously big collaborative brew for the ages.
The beer was the Four Horsemen of the Hopocalypse.
Good times were had whilst making the beer and partaking in many ales on the side.
A ludicrous amount of malt and hops were used to make this Intergalactic Imperial India Pale Ale (say that ten times fast people!)
The end result is a 14% beer which will take your socks and not only blow them off but send them in to outer space before returning them to earth all shriveled up and then finishing them off in a furnace for good measure!
If you are somebody who enjoys New Zealand craft beer and big hoppy beers in general then you need to get out there and enjoy a glass or bottle if you can.
Release date is 17th July 2015 at the Malthouse in Wellington, New Zealand. All welcome (even people who don't drink craft beer...YET!)
Brew Time: Fork & Brewer
In July the 11th Annual West Coast IPA Challenge was hosted at Fork & Brewer along with Malthouse. Since I have moved to Wellington I have been working at F&B and really freaking love it. This event gave me a chance to record the venue, the people, and the staff I work with daily.

TelstraClear Festival TV: The Animals & Children Took to the Streets
Evil kids run riot and creatures of darkness rule in this gloriously grim and wickedly funny world created through astonishing animated projections.
Welcome to the Bayou, a part of the city that is feared and loathed. There sits the infamous Bayou Mansions -- a sprawling, stinking tenement block, where curtain- twitchers and peeping-toms live side by side, and the wolf is always at the door.
When Agnes Eaves and her daughter appear late one night, does it signal hope in this hopeless place, or has the real horror only just begun?
Looking like a giant graphic novel brought to life, 1927 invites you into a dystopian metropolis of inner city paranoia. Seamlessly synchronising live music, performance and storytelling with stunning films and animation, this is a twisted new tale from the multiple award-winning company behind the Festival's 2010 Club hit Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Technically brilliant, razor sharp and completely entrancing, you won't find dark humour more gleeful than this.
The Animals and The Children played at the Opera House, Wellington as part of the New Zealand International Arts Festival 8-11 March.

MALTHOUSE THEATRE 2009 AT HOME & ABROAD HIGHLIGHTS
Revisit all the highlights of Malthouse Theatre at home and abroad in 2009.
In January our production of Barrie Koskys now famed The Tell Tale Heart played a sell out season at the 2009 Sydney Festival. In March our co-production with Bell Shakespeare, Venus and Adonis directed by Marion Potts, played a highly successful season at the Wellington Festival in New Zealand, and the Sydney Theatre Company Warf Theatre.
In April our original production of Exit The King was reproduced on Broadway, and the original team of director Neil Armfield, set designer Dale Ferguson, Sound designer Russell Goldsmith, and lighting designer Damien Cooper all taking the Long White Way, as it is called, by storm, with Dale and Russells work both being nominated for Tony awards. Of course towering over Broadway and totally gobsmacking the critics and audiences, was Geoffrey Rushs remarkable performance of the stubborn and refusing to exit gracefully King Berringer first unleashed on this very stage, and for which he went on to win the most prestigious best Actor Tony award all firsts for an Australian production on such hallowed turf!
In April, the cast and crew of Optimism, some 20 of us, boarded planes for Edinburgh. Our production played to completely sold out audiences in the beautiful Lyceum Theatre, with our Ausiee larrikin Candide Frank Woodley being awarded the prestigious 2009 Edinburgh International Festival Arts Angel award, among many plaudits for the whole company.
Also in August our coproduction with The State Theatre of South Australia production of David Harrowers Knives In Hens travelled to Adelaide.
In November we opened our production of Samuel Becketts Happy Days at Company B Belvoir in Sydney to rave reviews and now we commence preparations to take our Optimism to the Sydney Opera House for The Sydney Theatre Company and the 2010 Sydney Festival!
We hope you enjoy the reel!
