Palau Scuba Dive Adventure 2010 - Sam's Tours Palau
Its been a long time coming... I've finally have edited old footage from an amazing dive trip 6 years ago. 12 minutes of footage distilled from almost 4 hours of raw tape. Amazing how video and editing technology has changed in that many years. Forgive the rawness of the footage, we were still using Hi-8 film back then!
Thanksgiving 2010 three great friends had the dive trip of a lifetime. Seriously, after 1000s of dives around the globe I must say Palau is best diving in the world. We dove with Sam's Tours, which is an amazing dive operation. Led by Sam Scott, a great guy himself, Sam's Tours and all its staff know how to show divers a remarkable time. Taking experienced divers to the edge of excitement all while remaining safe and taken care of.
Palau offers more than can be imagined: pristine coral reefs, huge schools of fish, tons of BIG sharks, mantas, barracudas, many kinds of turtles, giant Napolean Wrasse, tiny invertebrates and nudibranchs, amazing wall and drift dives. We finished off dive days at the famous Bottom Time Bar and Grill where whale tail stories are told nightly. A dive adventure that will not be forgotten. Hope you enjoy the footage!

Lack Of Rooms Prevent Overseas Divers From Visit Palau
Shark Week, an annual event hosted by Fish n’ Fins, a local dive shop cancelled a segment of their activities involving overseas divers as a result of lack of accommodations in Palau.
Tova Bornovski of Fish n’ Fins says they were unable to book any of their overseas guests because no rooms were available in Palau for booking.
Lack of accommodations has been a huge issue amidst the massive influx of visitors from the People’s Republic of China.

Blue Corner, Palau - April 2009
Great time in Palau diving the Blue Corner four times. Amazing number of Greytip and Blacktip sharks. We did three dives at German Channel and saw the Giant Manta every time; it came within 6 feet of me trying to get tickled by my bubbles. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera on that dive. I'll try to upload more videos with the Rays.
