Bradenton is a city located on the Gulf of Mexico that's known for its beautiful beaches. Bradenton has a vibrant downtown and has a charming main street and marina district. There are many examples of Spanish Colonial achitecture.
Bradenton’s tallest building is the Bradenton Financial Center, 12 stories high, and it has a modern judicial center. Bradenton also has a historic courthouse that has been featured in several television shows.
Bradenton also has a new upscale mall called UTC, University Town Center, with a Saks 5th Avenue and Macy's. Stop by the South Florida Museum and see a planetarium and an exhibit on Manatees and visit the Robinson Nature Preserve.
Bradenton is one of the fastest growing communities in the United States. Bradenton is home to popular suburban area called Lakewood Ranch. Bradenton is also poised for much growth in the next few years. East of the gated residential community of Tidy Island, on Sarasota Bay, several developers plan to build thousands of new homes, condominiums, offices, and retail in Aqua by the Bay and Lake Flores.
Bradenton and neighboring Sarasota has a population of more than 700,000 people. The Pittsburgh Pirates play winter baseball in Bradenton in a modern facility. Large employers include Tropicana, IMG Academy, and Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Home to its own international airport, Bradenton combines culturally advanced attractions like the South Florida Museum with down-home friends, including Snooty™, the world's oldest manatee and the area's official mascot. Located to the west of I-75, exits 217 and 220.
Lakewood Ranch Fl
To the southeast of Bradenton, this 7,000-acre master-planned community, Lakewood Ranch Fl offers world-class recreational facilities, from the Sarasota Polo Club to the Sarasota International Cricket Club and its very own Main Street entertainment district. Anchored by University Parkway (I-75 exit 213 east), Lakewood Ranch Fl, a cultural community winds north across the Braden River above SR 64 (I-75 exit 220 east).
Palmetto
Located on the north shore of the Manatee River, this quaint city is home to Palmetto Historical Park, the Manatee County Agricultural Museum and the Madira Bickel Mound State Archeological Site, an ancient Native American site.
Ellenton
Just a short drive east from Palmetto (I-75 exit 224), Ellenton is home to Prime Outlets, with more than 130 factory direct stores, and historic Gamble Plantation, the only antebellum plantation house surviving in peninsular Florida.
Longboat Key Fl
Sitting between Anna Maria Island and Sarasota, Longboat Key Fl offers you sugar white beaches that are the most beautiful in the world. Loving Hands Ministries was founded in 1982 by Wendell and
Nancy Wilson as a result of a God-inspired vision to minister
the love of God to the lost and troubled youth of this generation.
Loving Hands Ministries was chartered by the state of Florida in 1984. The first Regeneration Center opened in Bradenton, Florida that same year. Loving Hands established it’s second location in Dade City, Florida (Pasco County) in 1992. Then in 1993 Loving Hands Ministries vision extended into INDIA, where the ministry oversee’s Churches, a Bible College, a Training Center, a Christian School, and an Orphanage Loving Hands Ministries INDIA LovingHands.net
Under the able leadership of the Wilson's, their dedicated Staff, Volunteers and Supporters, they have seen God’s Love and Grace change thousands of Lives and Destinies.
The Wilson's, who wed in 1962 have four adult children, their ministry as Pastor of numerous Churches, Evangelism, Discipleship and Counseling began that same year. Wendell holds his Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees from International Theological Seminary.
He also holds an Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Loving Hands Theological Seminary, India. Other schools he attended include Southeastern University, University of South Florida and Luther Rice Seminary. He has spoken at Religious conventions, City-wide gatherings, Prisons, Jails and Youth camps. He served as President of the Manatee County Ministerial Association in 1992 and again in 2005. Wendell was honored as “Minister of the Year” in the Manatee/Sarasota Florida area. He is also listed as an honored member in the National Directory of Who’s Who among Executives and Professionals. He has served as past President of the Homeless Coalition, , the Board of Directors of Drug Free Communities and Manatee Religious Services in Bradenton, Florida.
