South African comedian and The Daily Show host, Trevor Noah, pokes fun at the Russian accent and at the same time makes it sound oh-so-cool and menacing in this entertaining clip from the Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival 2015.

Pienone alla De Laugier per ascoltare la potente voce della vincitrice del Grammy 2008 Angelique Kidjo. Un successo strepitoso, per la gran presenza di pubblico ma soprattutto per lei: una forza della natura. Con la sua musica, che ha radici africane e spazia dal funk alla salsa, al jazz, e, ovviamente, makossa, ha trascinato letteralmente tutti in pista (anche il sindaco di Portoferraio), il quale, prima di consegnare due omaggi allospite della città di Portoferraio, è stato invitato dalla Kidjo sul palco insieme ad altri presenti, per ballare. Ma Angelique Kidjo, di origine del Benin, è anche nota per essere ambasciatrice dellUnicef dando voce nelle sue canzoni ad alcuni dei temi salienti dellAfrica. Prima dello spettacolo di Portoferraio, ha incontrato alcune associazioni ONLUS che prestano aiuto ai bambini nel mondo, tra cui Elba No Limits e la congolese Vivienne già nota agli elbani per lomonima Fondazione.Ha poi cominciato lo spettacolo con brani del suo ultimo album Djin Djin proponendo due ore della sua musica di oggi e delle prime uscite discografiche. Coinvolgimento generale, non si poteva dirle di no: grinta, simpatia e sarcasmo, grande presenza scenica. Accanto a lei i suoi musicisti: Rubens De La Corte e Joao Motta alle chitarre, Habib Faye al basso, Harvey Wirht alla batteria e Ibrahim alle percussioni. Si è conclusa così la 3° edizione della rassegna Oltremare e Alfredo Mottola, uno degli organizzatori, si dichiara molto soddisfatto e stimolato: La serata di Angelique Kidjo - ci ha detto - è andata molto bene, anche oltre le aspettative, noi speriamo di continuare. Abbiamo bisogno di divertirci...questa sera ci siamo riusciti.
