NoizeMaschin Mandurah #3 Live Performance With Video
About 5 weeks ago, I played a set at the third NoizeMaschin Mandurah event held at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on July 21 2016. The set consisted of 2 of my experimental field recordings set to a video I had made out of my highly coveted VHS tape of Bonkers' I Oughta Be In Toons which I heavily manipulated through glitching my RCA connection directly to my VCR in sync with the musique concrete stylings of both field recordings.
The first song is called Salter Point Lagoon Loop Snapchat THC Crossfade and is available to download as part of the IFAR Musique Concrète 検索が実現継続しますcompilation at It is made up of 30 different Snapchats each 10 seconds long crossfaded into each other recorded at the Salter Point wetlands in Salter Point, Western Australia. The second song is called Brookton Highway, Karragullen, 6:30am Approximately 5 Years After The Morning After The Doof. It was recorded at 6:30am early 2016 on Brookton Highway in Karragullen, Western Australia by dragging a microphone across the ground in a rest stop located off Brookton Highway and is available to download as part of Furchick's Flora compilation released on Dog Park Records at
The set is delayed by a few seconds silence, this is so the video was able to sync with the audio when it was played live.

BABBA - The Abba Spectacular! Mandurah Performing Arts Centre March 2020!
Bring your dancing shoes and join the party as we celebrate all the iconic hits of 70’s supergroup ABBA!
For 26 years BABBA have been thrilling audiences worldwide with their superb re-creation of 70’s super group ABBA and the legacy of hits they gave us. BABBA is the ultimate fun time; no matter how old or how young you may be, the show, just like the music, is timeless!
In 1994 a plot was hatched in a pub in Richmond, Victoria, to create the best ABBA tribute band in Australia, now, 21 years on, BABBA are still wowing crowds across the length and breadth of the country and internationally with their sparkling re-creation of the 70’s super group and that plot has definitely come to fruition.
A BABBA show is so much more than simply the songs of ABBA. The show is about memories, songs that in a second take you to another place and remind all of us of people and places and times that have touched our lives. For 2 hours, Benny, Bjorn, Agnetha and Frida and the incredible legacy they gave the world, can be ours once again.
From the glitz and glamour of the costumes and dance moves, all served up with a Swedish accent, to the precision and expert delivery of the music; even the most sceptical of audience members are transported back to 1977 and instantly become immersed into the wonderful musical illusion that is BABBA.
Not a single hit is missed as audiences become choirs, singing along, and on many occasions taking over the vocal lead, to songs as familiar as their own names. From the gentle ballads with heart-warming melodies and angelic harmonies to some rock and roll excitement as Benny asks Bjorn if he’s ready to rock them, the superb musical finesse of this show is as polished and precise as the day the songs were written.
BABBA will perform all Abba’s Greatest Hits such as – SOS, Waterloo, Fernando, Thank You For The Music, Money Money Money, The Winner Takes It All, Does Your Mother Know, Take A Chance On Me, Dancing Queen, Ring Ring, Mamma Mia and many many more in this 2 hour concert spectacular.
Seats become redundant as the hits keep on coming and the uncontrollable urge to get up and dance takes control. The energy that exudes from the stage is highly contagious and has no known cure other than to simply indulge your senses and believe; the 70’s are alive and well and right in front of your eyes.
From Eurovision winners to winners taking it all, the show builds and climbs, leading the audience on their journey through time, to their ultimate destination, as the Dancing Queen arrives to take the crowd to yet another high.
Audiences know when they have seen the best and been a part of something very special and they just want more; that is why BABBA audiences keep coming back, time after time after time.
This is one hit concert not to be missed !
