MANJUYOD SANDBAR DUMAGUETE | Philippines Travel Vlog 019, 2017
DAAAMMMN!! Manjuyod White Sandbar is the most beautiful place we found in Dumaguete - it's in the Philippines and we had to vlog this travel day to share just how amazing the Philippines really is. Our advice for when you visit Dumaguete is don't take the tour bus and spend too much, every hotel and company is hiking up the price to visit Manjuyod, also known as the Maldives of The Philippines. Hire a bike. Map it yourself. Drive it yourself and see the country! That's exactly what we did and the white sandbar was so worth the journey out there - an epic travel day all round!

Part 1:
This happened last April when the team decided to join the Dumaguete Dragon Boat Festival 2019. Since I have lived for 6 years in Dumaguete, I instantly became their tour guide. I created them an itinerary that will make their travel extra memorable. So enjoy part 2 and 3 coming up.
These videos happened Day 4 and 5 of the trip. Enjoy.

Maldives of Philippines (Manjuyod White Sandbar)
This was the highlight of my trip and most highly recommended places I was told to go when traveling to the Philippines. This is the Manjuyod Sandbar located near the city of the Bais City. If you don't have enough money to go to the Maldives this is a great alternative. Lucky for us we were able to witness dolphins swimming beside our boat. Plus don't even get my started with the food. People catch fresh seafood (Sea urchins, Squid, clams and oysters) This was a seafoods eater paradise. Don't waste your time reading what's great about the sandbar. I'll just show you!
(If you read up to this comment #Maldives) So I know who takes their time and appreciate the effort I put into these videos. *Heart* #KEEPFIGHTING

BAIS SANDBAR 2018
This pristine 7 kilometer stretch of premium white sand can be accessed via a short 15-minute boat ride from Capiñahan Wharf in the South Bais Bay, Bais City Negros Oriental. It is basically an island towards the North Bais Bay in the Tañon Strait that emerges only during low tides. On the island you can find native wooden houses built on stilts – and which, during high tide, appears to be floating on the water. These cottages could be rented for overnight stays and can be booked at the Bais City Tourism Office.

THE MALDIVES OF THE PHILIPPINES | Manjuyod Sandbar
Idyllic white sand surrounded on all sides by crystal clear water! you would be forgiven for thinking this was in the Maldives!
In this weeks vlog we visited the small town of Bais city on the island of Negros in the Philippines. This area is not visited by many tourists but those that do make the arduous journey come for one thing: The Manjuyod Sandbar. We hired out a private boat for the day in order to see the Manjuyod Sandbar and dolphins, upon arrival to the sand bar you can see instantly why people make the trip. Golden sand surrounded on all sides by cerulean blue water, a handful of wooden shacks on stilts line the shore as you approach giving it the Maldives look. The tides make all the difference when visiting the Sandbar, too low and the rocks become uncovered, too high and the Sandbar becomes invisible but if you visit during medium tide make sure you have your camera ready because you are in for a treat.
Thanks you all once again, you know the drill give it a like, comment and maybe even subscribe!
