Extreme Ghost Tour at Q Station, Sydney
Traveling to Sydney soon? Feeling brave and adventurous? Head on to Q Station and try their extreme ghost tour.
I've read a few articles online about ghost tours in Sydney, but I didn't have the chance to try it the first time I went there last year. When I came back weeks ago, I made sure that I won't miss the chance. Special thanks to Jason for accompanying me on this extreme ghost tour.
A fair warning though, this is defo not for the faint-hearted.
But, if you ask me, I would love to do this tour again!

Quarantine Station Sydney Australia - Some History and Ghost Tours.
I look at some history and take a few tours. I've had a few experiences there on the ghost tours, notice the Orbs in the photos. I was walking down this pathway and I felt someone hold my hand, I didn't tell anyone but at the end of the pathway the guide asked if anyone had felt anything hold there hands, apparently a little girl wanders down the path looking for her parents and regularly holds adults hands.
For over 150 years the Quarantine Station was for many, the beginning of a new life in Australia after making the arduous & lengthy journey from their homelands. Ships suspected of harbouring people infected with contagious disease such as Spanish Influenza, Smallpox or Bubonic Plague were quarantined here so that these deadly diseases would not reach the general population in Sydney. Ultimately a success story for the growing Sydney population, it did however leave an indelible mark on those that were quarantined; tales of love and loss play out alongside themes of cultural and social change, medical history and progress.

Once again, the tour I attended was about 2-3 years ago so my memory on the facts/tales the tour guide gave is a little sketchy. If I have mispronounced or said something that is incorrect, it is simply because I have forgotten.

Q-Station Hospital CCTV Footage
We had set up our CCTV system in the hospital over night and came back the next morning to find 1 of our cameras on the floor. In reviewing our footage of the nights investigation, I really wanted to see who or what moved the camera. All doors to this part of the hospital are locked and the camera was taped down in the middle of the cupboard. All night the camera did not move till this..

Quarantine Station
We recently had a two night stay at Q Station, originally know as North Head Quarantine Station.
The Quarantine Station was established in 1832 and up until 1984 served as the gatekeeper between potentially sick immigrants as well as some sick residents
This heritage listed hidden gem has now been restored with hotel style accomodation and provides a unique look into a slice of Sydney's history and delivers a destination that cannot be replicated anywhere.
Located in the midst of 36 hectares of National Park in North Head Manly, Q Station is the perfect location for a quick getaway filled with history, wildlife, some great walks and for those keen enough a very creepy ghost tour.
* Highly recommended
Q Station from above

Ghost Tour at the Quarintine Station at Manly My Experiance
Quarantine Station Manly 16/6/2018
This was the a little clip my son filmed as we left the shower block when we went on a Ghost Tour at the Manly Quarantine Station. It wasn't until we were on our way home and he was going through his photos and video that he saw this anomoly - I'm a bit of a sceptic, but interesting none the less - is it an orb, a bug, dust? It was in the vicinity that our tour guide said there was a friendly spirit who was shy, and often appeared and disappeared quickly. Anyway - you be the jusge - i tried to slow it down as best I could...
