A Guide To Strokes Adventure Golf Course - The Front 9
A Guide To Strokes Adventure Golf Course in Margate, holes 1 to 9 - The First to Suzuka.
Filmed to give players an idea of the type of lines, type of balls that work (for us at least) - it can never replace the experience of tackling this challenging course but should at least give you an idea of how to approach the holes.
If you've never played (or even seen) the course before or just want to watch in amusement as the hardy folk of the Kent Minigolf Club (the KMGC) get soaked and windswept in bringing this feast of minigolf onto YouTube, then this clip should be of interest to you!!!
Thanks to Dave, Sue and Jen Forrest and Marion Homer for braving the elements (and the directorial demands of Sean 'Spielbergo' Homer).
Special thanks to the team at Strokes for their ongoing support of the KMGC and the BMGA.

Britannia Tragedy
This is an excerpt of a DVD produced by 1st Take. The complete film is available to order at 1st-take.com or by calling 01454 321614. On November 6 1957, the Bristol Britannia airliner G-ANCA, on a test flight from Filton Airfield, plunged into a wood in the Downend suburb of Bristol, instantly killing the 15-man crew. This catastrophe left an indelible mark on those who witnessed the horror unfold, and their memories are at the heart of this story.
The video documentary released by 1st Take in 1997 has now been digitally enhanced and extended with fascinating new footage. To mark the 50th anniversary of the tragedy, the local parish council organised a commemorative service at the crash site, and this DVD includes the most comprehensive coverage of that poignant occasion. Among the speakers were Beryl Statham, widow of the test pilot, and Richard Randall, author of the book Death of a Giant, on which the original video was based. There is also rare, previously unseen footage of the Britannia in flght.
