MV Orion Liveaboard Shark Safari Tour - Feb 2016 Scuba Diving in the Maldives

With around 400 dives under my belt I thought it’d be good to try a liveaboard boat. We tried the Maldivian MV Orion yacht on their ’shark safari’ tour in Feb 2016. The boat departed from Male in the Maldives, and we dived and sailed south through all the atolls finishing in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll. This video is some of the amazing subjects we saw. Maldives 2018 - Diving with Patriot Scuba on the Manthiri Liveaboard

In this trip we go scuba diving at the Maldives for about two weeks, on the Manthiri Liveaboard. We finish the trip with a quick visit to Dubai, where we go to the 148th floor of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.

Here we have an 18 minute fish ID video from the Maldives. Beautiful fish and vibrant corals as well as many other interesting sea creatures. I compiled the video clips over a 9-day live-aboard trip with Manthiri liveaboards out of Male, the main island in capital of the Maldives. The identification should be fairly accurate but I'm sure I will see some comments! Enjoy!
