From Wikipedia :
The Victoria and Albert Museum (often abbreviated as the V&A) in London is the world's largest museum of applied and decorative arts and design, as well as sculpture, housing a permanent collection of over 2.27 million objects. It was founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
The V&A is located in the Brompton district of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, in an area that has become known as Albertopolis because of its association with Prince Albert, the Albert Memorial and the major cultural institutions with which he was associated. These include the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, the Royal Albert Hall and Imperial College London. The museum is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. As with other national British museums, entrance is free.
The V&A covers 12.5 acres (5.1 ha) and 145 galleries. Its collection spans 5,000 years of art, from ancient times to the present day, from the cultures of Europe, North America, Asia and North Africa. However, the art of antiquity in most areas is not collected. The holdings of ceramics, glass, textiles, costumes, silver, ironwork, jewellery, furniture, medieval objects, sculpture, prints and printmaking, drawings and photographs are among the largest and most comprehensive in the world.
The museum owns the world's largest collection of post-classical sculpture, with the holdings of Italian Renaissance items being the largest outside Italy. The departments of Asia include art from South Asia, China, Japan, Korea and the Islamic world. The East Asian collections are among the best in Europe, with particular strengths in ceramics and metalwork, while the Islamic collection is amongst the largest in the Western world. Overall, it is one of the largest museums in the world.
Since 2001 the museum has embarked on a major £150m renovation programme. New 17th- and 18th-century European galleries were opened on 9 December 2015. These restored the original Aston Webb interiors and host the European collections 1600–1815. The V&A Museum of Childhood in East London is a branch of the museum, and a new branch in London is being planned.

A Full Tour Of The London Transport Museum
In this video I share a full walking tour of The London Transport Museum that opened in Covent Garden, London in 1980. The majority of the museum's exhibits originated in the collection of London Transport, but since the creation of Transport for London in 2000, the remit of the museum has expanded to cover all aspects of transportation in the city.
In this video I explore The London Transport Museum and take a detailed look at the various different vehicles and trains on display along with sharing different facts about the items. I also take a look inside the gift shop at the museum and much more!

A March Through Europe (Pt. 88) - Sex Museum, Amsterdam
March 22, 2018 - SEX! Now that we've got your attention, We're back in the centre of Amsterdam. This morning we're visiting the History of Sex Museum for only Five Euros! Don't get this one mixed up with the Erotic Museum just a few blocks/canals away!
Sadly, I don't believe I could show much of the visit on YouTube. Rest assured, the musuem is a comical but educational look at the history of sex in a social sense over the years, in all the different cultures of the world (and beyond)!
Like I said, it's historical, but at the same time, the museum totally does NOT take itself too seriously.

Luthuli Museum Junior Soccer Tournament 17 - 18 March 2012.wmv
LUTHULI MUSEUM LAUNCHES JUNIOR SOCCER TOURNAMENT
Boys aged 13 years-old and under, who love soccer, were given a chance to show off their skills in the Luthuli Museum Junior Soccer tournament which was held at the Groutville Sports Grounds on the 17th -- 18th March 2012.
This first ever tournament for the Luthuli Museum, saw 16 teams compete against each other in a round robin style competition held over two days. All teams were from Groutville, i.e., 8 teams are from Central Groutville, four (4) from Melville, two (2) from Tete and two (2) from Thembeni.
Preparations for the tournament have been underway for some time and each player was photographed and has been entered on record.
It is well-known that Chief Albert Luthuli was passionate about soccer. So it is fitting that the Luthuli Museum fulfils his legacy by organising such an event, said Luthuli Museum Director Brian Xaba.
Chief Albert Luthuli started out his association with the beautiful game when he began coaching the soccer team called Shooting Stars at Adams College in the 1920s.
In fact Chief Luthuli confesses in his autobiography 'Let My People Go' that he became a compulsive football fan and mentions that he was carried away helplessly by the excitement of a soccer match.
He was elected vice president of the Durban and District Native Football Association in 1929 and was very active in the administration of the game. He also hosted a soccer coaching clinic at Adams College by Scottish football club called Motherwell in 1934.
In recognition for his contribution in the development of progressive sport he was elected the first honourary secretary of the South African Football Association. He was also involved in organising the first multi-racial soccer tournament in Durban with a Reverend Bernard Sigamoney.

Another video from my weekend visit to the South of England. Here is the reason why I went down to Swindon for the weekend.
This museum located next to the old Swindon Works was home to many varied steam engines that made history over the years. In this museum, their is a plenty to see and a interesting look into the booming years of Swindon Works.
Here we see the various exhibits on offer at the museum and we take a look around whats to see in the museum.

UK Vlog #4 Chiltern Open Air Museum
This open air museum in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire, is made up of houses and other structures that were taken from other areas of the county and placed there (although some were built there for the museum, like the Iron Age hut). It also has barns, churches, and other structures from various periods, including a 1940's Prefab house full of toys and games for kids. The Monkey had a great time, and because we went during a school day, we had the place pretty much to ourselves.
