We all love movie theaters for the special feeling they give with fantastic special effects, complete sound immersion and the taste of popcorn. Would you still love them just as much if you found out their secrets movie theater owners don’t want you to know? We’re going to unveil 10 movie theater secrets.
In cinemas, many people can’t always keep their feelings to themselves and that’s normal. For example, a movie about cannibals called Raw appeared to be too hard to watch for a couple of visitors at The Toronto International Film Festival in 2016. The people fainted and one of them hit his head badly during the fall.
Digital devices can do everything on their own, and there are more automatic processes at a cinema than there were during the previous century.
Keep it in mind that in case there are some problems with a projector (the image is blurred, not centered, etc.), you’ll have to stand up and go notify a staff member in the lobby.
20% of the population, including Johnny Depp himself, simply can’t perceive those three dimensions. Harvard Medical School neurobiology professor Dr. Margaret S. Livingstone explains it could be due to stereo-blindness when eyes can’t see in 3D because of the way they are aligned.
If you love cleanliness that much, try to visit the cinema in the morning and avoid going there on Friday and Saturday nights when a lot of other people go out to the movies.

-The younger generations buy a ticket when two movies start simultaneously, and one of them is not R-rated.

-A short break between two movies is not enough time for a cinema staff to thoroughly clean up a theater.
-Someone who loves to fight will always find a reason to do so. It could be that someone took someone else’s parking place, they talked on the phone during the movie, or someone is chomping too loudly.
-Thanks to security cameras, movie theater staff can spot and kick out couples that go too far on their “loveseats”.

01:01 The first selection is Eleanor Rigby first released by the Beatles in 1966. The song was written largely by Paul McCartney but is oft credited to him and John Lennon. Written in a double string quartet arrangement with lyrics about lonliness, the song broke from pop music conventions both musically and lyrically. In this arrangement, listen for the cellos and violas as they drive the melody forward with their scale-like eighth-note passages.
03:33 Composer Howard Shore's epic score for the Lord of the Rings trilogy is a mind-blowing effort that expresses J. R. R. Tolkein's books and Peter Jackson's films as an immense symphonic work. It is Cream's only gold-selling single in the U. S., and it features a distinctive bass line that you will hear played throughout the orchestra today. The lead singer of Cream is still playing today and very famous. Bonus points to the person in the audience who knows who the lead singer of Cream was.
25:25 Our final song is Crocodile Rock, written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin. Originally release in October 1972 in England, it became popular in the U.S. a month later where it became John's first #1 U. S. single. Unlike many songs, there is no hidden or deeper meaning. It was simply written to be a fun song. Thank you again for coming and enjoy our interpretatio of Crocodile Rock.

We would also like to thank Sherry and the New Dawn Theater for providing a comfy and convenient performance venue. Like many, they had suffered in the intense rains before and during the concert, but still managed to arrange a concert hall unique in Duluth.
And finally hugs and a thank you to our directors, Sarah Black and Amy Clement who, after many hours of teaching music in public schools all week still find time to patiently work with yet another orchestra on weekends. Your love and devotion are recognized and appreciated.

Teen dies after fight outside middle school
A 13-year old girl from Attucks Middle School ended up on life support at Texas Children's Hospital two days after a fight off campus.
Kashala Francis' mother, Mamie Jackson, says her daughter told her she was attacked by two girls after school on Thursday, and that another girl later jumped in and kicked her in the head.
Jackson says when her daughter returned home Thursday afternoon, she had a bruise on her face, but insisted she was okay.

Tri-County? Hydraulic Elevator at 40 Penny Ln. in Watsonville, CA
The elevator has 4 floors, but it also has a rear door, and floor 1 is not far below floor 2. I am not sure how close together floors 3 and 4 are, but 3 might be locked. I would say this building is about 3 floors high. The car station is unique. It is a piece of wood, that protrudes from the wall! It kind of seems like a retrofit, but it is original. The fixtures might be a variant of Epco Haloline fixtures. This elevator was installed most likely in the mid 1980s. Oddly, unless the buttons are burnt out, none of the buttons light up, which seems very odd for an elevator this new.
