Margaret Island is a 2.5 km (1.6 mi) long island, 500 metres (550 yards) wide, (0.965 km2 (238 acres) in area) in the middle of the Danube in central Budapest, Hungary. It belongs administratively to the 13th district under the name of Margitsziget. The island is mostly covered by landscape parks, and is a popular recreational area. Its medieval ruins are reminders of its importance in the Middle Ages as a religious centre. The island spans the area between the Margaret Bridge (south) and the Árpád Bridge (north).( )

A Margit-sziget a Duna egyik szigete Magyarországon, Budapest területén, Margitsziget néven a főváros egyik városrészét alkotja. 2013-ig Budapest XIII. kerületéhez tartozott, azóta egyik kerülethez sem tartozik.
Néhány szállodát, vendéglátó-ipari egységet és sportlétesítményt leszámítva épület nincs rajta, voltaképpen a fővárosiak óriási parkja középkori szakrális építészeti emlékekkel, szoborsétányokkal, kisebb tavakkal. A gépjárműforgalom -- autóbuszok és taxik kivételével -- tilos, várakozásra az Árpád hídról megközelíthető parkoló szolgál.( )

Wyspa Małgorzaty - wyspa na Dunaju, na Węgrzech, w granicach miasta Budapeszt. Pod względem administracyjnym wyspa ta należy do XII dzielnicy. Została sztucznie utworzona z trzech, leżących blisko siebie pomniejszych wysp w 1950 roku przy okazji prac związanych z regulacją Dunaju. Ma 2,5 km długości, zajmuje 95,6 ha powierzchni, a w najszerszym miejscu jej szerokość wynosi 500 m.
Na wyspie znajdują się hotele, obiekty sportowe (boiska, korty tenisowe, baseny), kluby, restauracje, liczne tereny zielone ze ścieżkami rowerowymi, joggingowymi, przestronnymi trawnikami idealnymi na piknik, wypoczynek oraz średniowieczne ruiny natury sakralnej.( )
