Margoon (Margun مارگون) Waterfall is located in the Fars province of Iran near the city of Sepidan. Its name means in Persian snake like.
The height of the waterfall is 70 meters and its width is 100 m. The waterfall is located in the village Margoon, 48 kilometers far from the city ardakan Fars province. Margoon one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in Iran. Margoon area is mountainous. And has an elevation of over 2,200 meters above sea level. Weather is cold. In the event of a winter waterfall freezes. distance of Margoon to Yasooj is 65 km and distance of Margoon to ardakan fars is 48 km. As far as the car goes about 800 meters from the waterfall. And the rest of the way to walk away. This has paved the way. And near the waterfall with concrete steps.

The waterfall is located in Marghun district, Sepidan city of Fars province.

This waterfall is the main attractive of Abshare Margoon protected area. Margoon waterfall falls from the heart of a rocky mountain and has about 70 meter height and 100 meter width and is considered as the big ones of waterfalls in Iran.
It has diverse flora and fauna. Oak is the main plant of the forests of the area and brown bear, Persian leopard, wolf, fox, wild boar, wild goat, Porcupine etc. are some of its wilderness.
The area has a cold weather between November and April as sometimes the parts of waterfall gets freezed. It has a mild weather in summers.
We were there in november 2017 and it was raining. After the visit of the waterfall we had our lunch in the moskque of Margoon and that was a kind of a happening.

آبشار مارگون (انگلیسی: Margoon Waterfall) یکی از زیباترین آبشارهای کشور ایران می‌باشد و در شهرستان سپیدان استان فارس، دهستان مارگون واقع گردیده است. این آبشار در حقیقت سرچشمه رودخانه است و در بالای کوه هیچ رودخانه‌ای نیست، بلکه از بدنه دیواره صخره‌ای کوه، بیش از چند هزار چشمه وجود دارد که آب از آن‌ها به بیرون ریخته می‌شود.

The province of Fars (parsa) in Iran, with an area of 133,000 Kilometers,is located south-west of Iran. this province had a population of 4.6 million people. The capital city of Fars is Shiraz
The ancient Persians were present in the region from about the 10th century BC, and became the rulers of the largest empire the world had yet seen under the Achaemenid dynasty which was established in the mid 6th century BC, at its peak stretching from Thrace-Macedonia, Bulgaria-Paeonia and Eastern Europe proper in the west, to the Indus Valley in its far east. The ruins of Persepolis and Pasargadae, two of the four capitals of the Achaemenid Empire, are located in Fars.
The Achaemenid Empire was defeated by Alexander the Great in 333 BC, incorporating most of their vast empire. Shortly after this the Seleucid Empire was established. However it never extended its power beyond the main trade routes in Fars, and by the reign of Antiochus I or possibly later Persis emerged as an independent state that minted its own coins.

آبشار آب سفید عروس زیبای آبشارهای ایران Ab Sefid Waterfall
آبشار آب سفید معروف به عروس زیبای آبشارهای ایران که در شهرستان الیگودرز استان لرستان قرار داره و آب این آبشار به علت برخورد با صخره‌ها با هوا ترکیب میشه و به صورت سفید دیده میشه. ارتفاع آبشار هفتاد متر و عرضش هشت متر هست و نکته جالب اینکه این حجم زیاد آب از دل کوه بیرون میاد و از رودخانه و نهر تامین نمیشه. طبیعت منطقه و شکل صخره‌ها هم در نوع خودش خیلی باشکوه و دیدنیه
