Hi everyone, I'm back with another travel vlog – this time from Hakata-Jima (Hakata Island) in Japan, where my grandma lives! This was a very special trip and video to edit, because I rarely get to see my grandma, and this is also the island where my dad grew up throughout his childhood. Coming back here is always such a treat.
I hope you enjoy! Hakata-Jima is a lesser-known spot in Japan but it's so underrated! There is actually a lot you can do, and since it's part of a string of islands in the Ehime Prefecture, it's so easy to drive across to the other islands nearby via the bridges. My parents met up with me in Hakata-Jima, and we drove around to Imabari and Matsuyama, which are two other cities on the islands.
