THE REAL VANDALS OF RAMSGATE?
A THANET WATCH REPORT. Fourteen years ago the old Pleasurama building on Ramsgate seafront, owned by the fire-dogged Jimmy Godden, burned down. Ever since it has lain derelict while developers made promises and did nothing - to the anger of many residents.Two years ago local painters began to put paintings on the hoardings around the site. It became a spectacular outdoor art gallery. Now 30 paintings have been vandalised. So now we have legal and illegal vandalism!
