'Pesticide Free' and 'Organic' food production - eating locally. This segment tells how I am raising my personal bar; with the help of organic neighbours.
Note: Along with my own production, along with preserving; drying, canning, the addition of the fabulous organic 'Penticton Farmer's Market' - I can up the 'local' quota over 65%. I am pursuing local ground flours and grains from the still functioning Grist Mill in Keremeos. I consume very little dairy, but can access either Organic Kamloops or Sicamous Dairy products. Free range eggs - veggie fed are not a problem either. I am striving for over 80% this winter. This will be a 15% improvement over last year.
