Santorini is one of the most stunning Greek Islands located in the Cyclades. With it's breathtaking cliffs with white and blue buildings situated all over, Santorini is one of the most visited Islands in all of Europe. Santorini's world famous sunset will leave a lasting impression and have you dreaming of quaint towns like Fira and Ioa after visiting.

Food/Drinks:
Greek Gyros- Any place around the island is great! Pork, Lamb or Chicken and fries come packed inside the pita!
Niki Restaurant- Decent Food, not the best but a great place to watch the sunset in Fira. Not as pricey as one may think. A good meal with drinks will run you €10-25 depending on your appetite.
Murphy's Bar- Contiki mates get 2 for 1 drinks but still costs €10 euro. Good hip hop upstairs. Make your way down the spiral stairs to the bottom floor where it's much more relaxed with oldies/rock/alternative music playing.
Liogerma Cafe- A Contiki sponsored cafe where wine and appetizers are included along with reserved seats to watch Ioa's unforgettable sunset. €25 via Contiki tour.
Red Beach Parking Lot Food Stand- Fresh Fruit Smoothie for €2.50 euro delicious and perfect before making 10-minute hike to the secluded Red Beach.
BOSS Ice Cream Bar- Cookies and Cream. Can Be found at almost every place that sells ice cream in Santorini.
Santa Irini Bakery Shop- Open 24 hours, this place is great to stop by late night after partying by the Black Sand Beaches or anytime during the day for that matter! Very nice people and all their bread, croissants and product is served warm! Their Baklava was phenomenal!!
Transportation:
ATV Rental- (Recommended)- LIVE A LITTLE! Rent an ATV for only €15 for 24 hour period at Mark's Bikes in Perissa and explore the island on your own and be adventurous!
Public Bus- Cheapest option but heard nothing but bad experiences from my Contiki Mates. Crowded, Hot and unreliable. It will get you around but also get you irritated. Not worth it on Vacation.
Taxi- Can be expensive if you're traveling across the island. If you have the money, do it but I suggest renting a car or an ATV!
Donkey Ride- In Fira and Ioa for about €5-10 up/down the cliffs or round trip. I think it's cruel and riding a donkey does nothing for me. JUST WALK!!
Fira Funicular Ride- €4 each way. Get ready for a Disneyland type line. Like I said... get some exercise and walk.
Rental Car- I heard it's not bad to rent a car and if you get one do yourself a favor and get a drop top!!
Accommodations:
IRA Family Vassalos- Located in Perissa, it is a little off the path but the hard working family does it's best to be swift in making food orders and drinks at their poolside bar. The air-conditioning was hard to control but the rooms were decent enough to stay in for a couple days. It's only a 15-Minute walk to bars and the black sand beach, so that's a plus.
Ioa- If I had the choice, I would have found a place to stay in this quaint, quiet and breathtaking town. With Santorini's best views and most famous for it's sunsets, Ioa would be my choice of area to stay.
Fira- If you are into night life and a little more hustle and bustle, Fira is the place for you. Fira is Santorini's largest town with the most restaurants, shops and famous Donkey Rides can be found here. Still a ways away from the beach!!

Santorin 2018 Oia, Fira, Perissa

Unser Fazit:

We chose to begin our journey north with a 2 day ride from Athens to Patras (Greeces third largest city) in order to test our bike gear and get a better sense of our physical condition for the ride ahead. This video includes footage from these first two days of riding leading up to the wedding of George's sister on Corfu island.

SANTORINI FIT HOLYDAY 2013
Peach Imaging, twenty five years in Greece
25 years ago, I travelled to Athens to produce images for the Insight guide to the city. Since then, I have visited Greece regularly and have been fortunate to have met many wonderful people (many of which I am still in touch with) and made a living from travelling from island to island to experience the diversity the country has to offer.
I’ve produced images for many companies, some major operators like Thomas Cook, Tui and Cosmos and I’ve also covered the smaller operators (some sadly no longer with us such as Libra and Kosmar)
Now producing more video then still images, drones and sliders have replaced the more traditional film cameras I started with but the islands and the people remain basically unchanged in all that time.
To mark my 25 years in travel, I’ve put together this video, based mainly around one of my favourite islands, Santorini

EASY TO FOLLOW & best way how to make THC vape e-liquid from cannabis buds or weed
This is the best way to make THC infused vape juice using your weed/bud! It's also the easiest, yay!
Thanks for watching! See below for further info, please like and comment below on how your cook up goes.
Thanks for watching, much love and peace! ❤☮
*WHAT I USED TO MAKE MY JUICE* ❤
(In order of use)
Cannabis x 7g
Grinder
Baking / parchment paper
Glass casserole dish lid
Tin / aluminium foil
Empty clean jam jar with lid
Syringes (10ml & 5ml)
(I use 8ml of fluid per 1g of weed, made up of:)
Vegetable Glycerin x 18 ml (30%)
Propylene Glycol x 42 ml (70%)
Baking / parchment paper and celotape for funnel
Teaspoon
Straight sided saucepan
Glass Bowl
Potato ricer
Cheese cloth
(new pack of dishcloths works fine, use 2)
Spatula
More syringes (10ml & 5ml)
Empty vape bottles for final product
*HOW I MADE MY JUICE* ❤
Pre heat oven to 115 degrees C
Or 240 degrees F
Or just below gas mark 1
Cut baking paper to fit inside casserole lid
Grind weed and place into baking paper
Spread evenly
Cover with tin foil, make sure you cover as well as possible leaving no gaps, so none of the goodness escapes.
*please recycle your foil guys*
Place in middle if pre heated oven, set timer for 30 mins
Remove from oven after 30 mins and leave covered, to cool for 20-30mins (so the goodness soaks back into the weed).
This above ☝️ decarboxylation process is REALLY IMPORTANT!!
**If you don't do this your end product won't be very good at all, and there is a chance you will have just wasted 7g of nice weed**
Whilst your weed is cooling, measure our your base fluids into your jar.
(It's good to recycle old jars you've used around the house, good for the environment guys!)
Make a funnel from baking paper using a small amount of cellotape, you can reuse this each time.
Get your saucepan and heat up some water on the hob, have the lid on to speed up the heating, but you will need to remove to cook the juice up, of course.
Once your weed is cooled, use the baking paper you cooked it on to transfer to the funnel and pour into the jar.
Use the spoon to ensure the weed has all been covered by the liquid.
Place the lid on the jar, and pop the jar into the saucepan ensuring it's on the LOWEST heat setting. (Doesn't matter on the temp as long as it's NOT TOO HOT.)
Set your timer for 30 mins, at this time agitate the jar to 'stir' the mixture, reset and stir every 30 mins for a total of 3 hours 30 mins.
Once all done, leave to cool for around 10-15 mins.
Setup your potato ricer into the bowl with the cheese cloth placed over the potato ricer ready to empty the jar into.
Empty the contents of the jar into the cloth, use a spatula for this part, then squeeze your ricer together, and the filtered juice Will come out of the bottom into your bowl.
Measure out into your vape juice containers.
All done!!
Thanks again!
Akrotiri (Santorini)
See also Akrotiri (disambiguation).
Akrotiri (Greek: Ακρωτήρι, pronounced Greek: [akroˈtiri]) is a Minoan Bronze Age settlement on the volcanic Greek island of Santorini (Thera). The settlement was destroyed in the Theran eruption about 1627 BCE and buried in volcanic ash, which preserved the remains of fine Frescoes and many objects and artworks. The settlement has been suggested as a possible inspiration for Plato's story of Atlantis. The site has been excavated since 1967.

Suspense: The Name of the Beast / The Night Reveals / Dark Journey
The Number of the Beast (Greek: Ἀριθμὸς τοῦ θηρίου, Arithmos tou Thēriou) is the numerical value of the name of the person symbolized by the beast from the sea, the first of two symbolic beasts described in chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation. In most manuscripts of the New Testament the number is 666, but the variant 616 is found in critical editions of the Greek text, such as the Novum Testamentum Graece.
Most scholars believe that the number of the beast equates to Emperor Nero, whose name in Greek when transliterated into Hebrew, retains the value of 666, whereas his Latin name transliterated into Hebrew, is 616. The mark of the beast is used to distinguish the beast's followers. Revelation 13:17 says that the mark is the name of the beast or the number of his name. Because of this, it is widely thought among dispensationalists that the mark will be some future representation of the actual number 666. It has also been speculated that the mark may be an Imperial Roman seal, or the Emperor's head on Roman coins.

The Great Gildersleeve: Leila Returns / The Waterworks Breaks Down / Halloween Party
The Great Gildersleeve (1941--1957), initially written by Leonard Lewis Levinson, was one of broadcast history's earliest spin-off programs. Built around Throckmorton Philharmonic Gildersleeve, a character who had been a staple on the classic radio situation comedy Fibber McGee and Molly, first introduced on Oct. 3, 1939, ep. #216. The Great Gildersleeve enjoyed its greatest success in the 1940s. Actor Harold Peary played the character during its transition from the parent show into the spin-off and later in a quartet of feature films released at the height of the show's popularity.
On Fibber McGee and Molly, Peary's Gildersleeve was a pompous windbag who became a consistent McGee nemesis. You're a haa-aa-aa-aard man, McGee! became a Gildersleeve catchphrase. The character was given several conflicting first names on Fibber McGee and Molly, and on one episode his middle name was revealed as Philharmonic. Gildy admits as much at the end of Gildersleeve's Diary on the Fibber McGee and Molly series (Oct. 22, 1940).
He soon became so popular that Kraft Foods—looking primarily to promote its Parkay margarine spread — sponsored a new series with Peary's Gildersleeve as the central, slightly softened and slightly befuddled focus of a lively new family.
Premiering on August 31, 1941, The Great Gildersleeve moved the title character from the McGees' Wistful Vista to Summerfield, where Gildersleeve now oversaw his late brother-in-law's estate and took on the rearing of his orphaned niece and nephew, Marjorie (originally played by Lurene Tuttle and followed by Louise Erickson and Mary Lee Robb) and Leroy Forester (Walter Tetley). The household also included a cook named Birdie. Curiously, while Gildersleeve had occasionally spoken of his (never-present) wife in some Fibber episodes, in his own series the character was a confirmed bachelor.
In a striking forerunner to such later television hits as Bachelor Father and Family Affair, both of which are centered on well-to-do uncles taking in their deceased siblings' children, Gildersleeve was a bachelor raising two children while, at first, administering a girdle manufacturing company (If you want a better corset, of course, it's a Gildersleeve) and then for the bulk of the show's run, serving as Summerfield's water commissioner, between time with the ladies and nights with the boys. The Great Gildersleeve may have been the first broadcast show to be centered on a single parent balancing child-rearing, work, and a social life, done with taste and genuine wit, often at the expense of Gildersleeve's now slightly understated pomposity.
Many of the original episodes were co-written by John Whedon, father of Tom Whedon (who wrote The Golden Girls), and grandfather of Deadwood scripter Zack Whedon and Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog).
The key to the show was Peary, whose booming voice and facility with moans, groans, laughs, shudders and inflection was as close to body language and facial suggestion as a voice could get. Peary was so effective, and Gildersleeve became so familiar a character, that he was referenced and satirized periodically in other comedies and in a few cartoons.
