Customised Candles Video
Customised Candles
We make a range of customised candles like, baby birth, christening, milestone, memorial, wedding, inspirational, ceremonial and other occasional candles. Customise your candle with your favourite photo and personal message. We are honoured to have made many memorial candles for loved ones that have passed, and we are blessed that through the burning flame of our candles, family and friends can take comfort during the most difficult time of losing somebody very special.
Our Mission is to formulate and manufacture natural quality products that are unique through creative vision.
Our 100% natural soy wax candles and melts are hand–and hand poured ensuring that wax is heated to just the correct temperature and infused with premium fragrance oils at just the correct temperature to give you a quality product. Why soy wax? Soy wax contains no paraffin, is non-toxic and burns cleaner, longer and slower, and is therefore good for the environment. Soy- beans are vegetables and soy wax is essentially made from hydrogenated soybean oil. Soy wax is naturally biodegradable and is easier to remove from materials and other surfaces than paraffin wax.
Our fragrance oils supplier has one of the largest ranges of top quality fragrance oils available in Australia for use in Candles, Melts, Soaps & Body Products. All their fragrances have been proven in the Australian market over many years and are fragrance oils that we feel confident in using in our range. Their fragrance formulas are exclusively theirs developed for them in the US with both a great cold and hot scent throw. All fragrances are made to IFRA standards (international fragrance association) and are Phthalate free (a group of chemicals used to make plastics)
They work with a team of professional perfumers from around the globe to bring you the latest trend fragrances from New York, Paris & beyond. Their premium fragrances are so sought after, that they are often copied but NEVER matched. They do not compromise when it comes to quality of raw materials, only the highest quality ingredients are used including many essentials oils. We have used the same supplier since our establishment.
Our products are currently sold in Market Fair, located at 794 Burwood Highway Ferntree Gully Melbourne Victoria Australia.
The Swagman Television Advertisement (Australia)- February 1987
Australian television advertisement promoting The Swagman, a famous restaurant located at 1009 Burwood Highway, Ferntree Gully, a suburb in Melbourne's east. It was capable of holding up to 1,200 people, and covered 20,000 square metres of land. The Swagman was famous in Melbourne for its theatre cabaret shows and smorgasbords, as well as its television ads. It opened in 1972, and burned down on May 27th, 1991, in a suspected arson attack, which was front page news throughout Melbourne. This advertisement was broadcast in Melbourne in the late 1980s, particularly on late night television.
From a VHS recording, February 1987.
Vaxfacts: The owners of The Swagman, Basil and Ina de Jong, were suspected of arson, and were sued by the ANZ Bank. Basil would end up managing the nightclub that was built on that site, Stylus, which would end up closing.

Staff Testimonials:
I've worked with Michael Choi at McDonald Real Estate for almost 1 year now. The past year has been a completely new experience for me, we've had our ups and our downs like I've come to expect with any new job, but unlike anything I have ever experienced or heard of before, I've found that Michael has gone out of his way to build a positive relationship with myself and the rest of our team.
I find that my relationship with Michael is not really that of an Employer-employee relationship, but more of a friendship or network in that he makes me feel like I'm doing him a favour when he asks me if I can do something for him, rather than a boss instructing an employee on what to do simply because that's what he's being paid to do.
Over the past 12 months Michael has been by my side letterbox dropping until the late hours of the night, simply because he wanted to help, or I asked for his help and he never once said no or argued with me about doing it so late just because I wanted to use daylight hours to prospect in a more direct manner.
It's because of these attributes that I settled into the team so quickly and built up strong friendships with all the staff. I find that Michael feels more like a business partner to me then a boss in that we both share the same visions and goals for my success.
I feel very fortunate to have been given the career opportunity that Michael presented, and I couldn't be happier about my decision to leave the lifestyle I was previously so comfortable in, and start anew. Jesse Roberts
I was fortunate enough to have been chosen by Michael to join the new office to be based in Aspendale Gardens some three and a half years ago. At first I felt quite privileged, then challenged at the job ahead. Michael is a strong believer in accountability and going beyond that extra mile which saw us quickly take a strangle hold on market share in the suburb and eradicate our opposition.
I would describe Michael as being ambitious, passionate, energetic, enthusiastic and certainly challenging. With Michael there is no I in team. He is not your normal boss. Michael forsakes personal achievement and success to ensure team achievement and success. He is a very approachable and fair person. As in life, sometimes a curve ball is thrown. Michael catches the ball, redirects the pitch and then hits it out of the park. He is reasonable and will hear opinions, thoughts, and ideas working with the team to implement or negate dependent on situation. Michael is a wealth of motivation and spends loads of his time encouraging and supporting his staff.
Michael constantly works to better him, the office and the team in every aspect. He is open to others passions and ideas and always expects excellence. He likes to be different in a positive way and encourages that in his team. Michael has an undying sense of fun which is carried through his persona into the workplace. He is certainly not your typical estate agent nor is he your typical young man. There is nothing typical about Michael. He is incredibly unique and I doubt I will come across another such dedicated and focused young man in my lifetime. Kerri Skews
