Strawberry Line charity bike ride: Yatton – Cheddar – Yatton
We completed this challenge in September 2014 in the hope of raising awareness of dementia related diseases to assist in better diagnosis and better support after diagnosis. Some charitable giving will reinforce services out there that support diagnosed patients and their pathway.
Alzheimer's is a disease that is challenging for both the person and their family but with better support that person can continue to live a fulfilling life after diagnosis.

Christmas City Break in Leicester Square 2017
We were so excited to be invited to be guests of various West End businesses, and took a Christmas city break with the family to the Heart of London, seeing just how much we could cram into a short stay in Leicester Square.
We stayed at the Premier Inn in Leicester Square, strolled the streets and visited the kids choices (LEGO store, M&M's world and Kingdom of Sweets...) before stopping for lunch at MOD Pizza (so so good - we all voted it our best pizza outside of Italy!). In the afternoon we explored St James & Piccadilly, window shopping the very best London has to offer before circling back to Leicester Square for a slow meander through the pretty Christmas Market.
We gladly refuelled (in a magnificent, over-eating, ridiculous-amounts-of-great-food you-call-that-a-MILKSHAKE??? fashion) at Planet Hollywood, and then walked around the corner to settle in to see A Comedy About A Bank Robbery at the Criterion Theatre. What a brilliant show - we laughed til our sides hurt (and blushed a little at the few slightly risqué moments with our almost-11yr-old).
We finished the day with one last stroll through the streets, just to see the beautiful angels lighting up the West End and trying to decide on our favourites. They really are special.
