Watch folk enjoying a fabulous corporate promo riverboat cruise onboard Marlborough's River Queen, heading down the Opawa River towards Cloudy Bay
Fishing @ Wairau River, Spring Creek, Blenheim, New Zealand
On a sunny cold windy day this gang went to Wairau River to have a breath after a lots of load of work in the rest home. Having a sneak on the beauty of nature here in the South. Even though it was a tough day, we are unstoppable to go gone crazy beside the sea and the river while the sun kissing our skin.

Marlborough's River Queen is moored at Beaver Station wharf, in Riverside Park, two minutes' walk from the centre of Blenheim. She was purpose-built about 10 years ago to operate on the Opawa River. Although some 35 tonnes she only has a draft of 18 inches -- so we can navigate the shallowest of waters! The River Queen is a spacious vessel: she is licensed to carry 100 passengers plus crew.

Love marlborough Out In The Back Yard-Onamalutu Reserve
The site features a remnant of podocarp forest of the type once common in the region before major deforestation by European settlers. In addition to short tracks through this pocket of native forest, a large grassy area suitable for a wide range of activities and a campsite and picnic area make the location popular as a place for family outings less
than half an hour's drive from Blenheim.
The northbank of Wairau River provides access to Mt Richmond Forest Park.
To get to this part of the forest park, turn off State Highway 6, just north of the Wairau River Bridge, 16 km from Blenheim.
Description
In this reserve various short walks wind through the forest by the river. Open grassed areas are ideal for overnight camping, games and picnics.

PICTON, New Zealand (Marlborough): Queen Charlotte Sound Scenic Cruise Vlog l Ep. 14
It's a new day which means we are in Picton, New Zealand! This is an interesting port...if you don't have an excursion booked, you might be bored...you may also be bored on your excursion. LOL. I believe this port is a great port to go wine tasting. I booked my excursion through Norwegian Cruise Line though most cruise lines offer this tour. It is called: QUEEN CHARLOTTE SOUND SCENIC CRUISE and here is the description from NCL's website:
“Cruise the pristine waters of Queen Charlotte Sound on a catamaran, rounding the rugged shoreline, taking in the natural beauty and even feeding fish in a serene cove.
Depart right from the pier on a comfortable catamaran designed for optimal viewing on the typically calm waters of Queen Charlotte Sound. Like all of the sounds within the larger system of Marlborough Sounds, Queen Charlotte was formed when the surrounding river valleys filled with water during the end of the last ice age, approximately 10,000 years ago. It's separated from the other sounds by steep, serrated hills.
Scattered settlements dot the rugged shoreline, most of them so isolated that they can only be reached by boat. The landscape and lush forests haven't changed enormously since Captain James Cook sheltered here during his exploratory voyages in the 1770s. Indeed, the unspoiled natural beauty remains one of the primary draws of this magnificent sound named for Queen Charlotte, the wife of England's King George III.
You'll also spend time in Double Cove feeding the fish, which usually include herring, mullet and cod. Don't be surprised if you see king shags, a type of cormorant, swooping in, as they are highly skilled at catching fish. Still, no matter where you sail on the sound, it's the panoramic views that capture your heart and forever remain in your memory.”
As always, make sure to watch in HD for the best video quality! Hope you enjoy! :)

Ship Cove (Meretoto) - Queen Charlotte Sound
Flying over the wharf at Ship Cove you can see the Captain Cook memorial on the water front and take a closer look at the beach along the shore.
Then zooming out towards the Western Shore, you can see a yacht anchored up in the alcove of the bay. You will get a really good idea of what's in store for you at the start of the Queen Charlotte Track.

-- About this video --
This morning we are waking up to the smell of freshly baked scone in the Tombstone Backpackers that offer free breakfast every morning. Then we are heading down to the Picton waterfront for our activity of the day: a Marlborough Sounds Mail Boat Cruise with Beachcomber Cruises.
We hop on the Beachcomber Mail Boat Cruise in Picton and get ready for our Marlborough Sounds cruise. The Mail Boat Cruise of the Marlborough Sounds allows us to see some of the hidden coves and bays of the Marlborough Sounds by cruise.
The route on the Mail Boat in the Marlborough Sounds is different every day so we are seeing some really off the beaten track locations in the Marlborough Sounds.
We even get the chance to hop off the Mail Boat in one cove and another to feed the dogs.
While on the Mail Boat Cruise of the Queen Charlotte Sound, we keep an eye out for dolphins.
So what do you think of the Marlborough Sounds Mail Boat Cruise? Is this a cruise of the Marlborough Sounds you would do?

FROM AUCKLAND TO KERIKERI - day 02 - North Island, New Zealand
My website :
My Instagram :
So for those who have seen my last video and are back, either it wasn’t that bad (I don’t believe that for a second) or you like to be tortured (naughty you). Well there could be a third option, that you’re interested in seeing how bad these videos can get (the option I would bet on). Nonetheless, welcome back to you and the newcomers!
Today we pickup our camper-van and make our way north to Kerikeri near the Bay Of Islands. I got up early to head down to Viaduct Basin near Downtown Pier 4 for some photos. It was an overcast morning with some breaks in the clouds on the horizon. I came away with two though. One of The Cloud convention centre and the other of the Sky Tower. Afterwards I went for a walk on Queen’s Wharf around The Cloud before heading back to the room. I was getting hungry and the others would be getting up soon.
Finding a place to eat at 7:30 in the morning on a Sunday was more difficult than we thought. Everything was either closed or opened around 8:30-9 o’clock. Except for The MLC Cafe & Bar, just down the road from us, who open there doors at 7 am. The coffee, food and service was great. I can highly recommend it.
After brekky it was time to pickup our camper-van. We thought it would take about a half hour to have keys in hand but it took a little longer… three hours! Yep, no joke. They apparently had a glitch with their system. We had planned to arrive in Kerikeri around 12:30-1 o’clock but we were just leaving Auckland. No matter, our trip around the North Island of New Zealand had begun. Destination Kerikeri, north of Auckland near the Bay of Islands, with a little stop-over in Kawakawa. A little town at the cross road where you can either head east to Paihia or north-west further up the island. I wanted to visit Kawakawa’s public toilets. Yes, you read me right. But not any toilets, the Hundertwasser public toilets. A beautiful work of art. I’m glad we stopped to check the toilets out because we would never seen the rest of the art works in this little town. Well worth a stop-over.
Moving onward, we’d planned to stop by a couple of wineries, a cheese factory, a chocolate factory and a honey boutique… but it was Sunday. Everything is closed on Sunday. So we kept going to our next stop, The Stone Store where we would also find the Honey House Cafe and the Pear Tree restaurant. All located along the Kerikeri River and all closed apart from the Pear Tree. But it didn’t matter because the area was just beautiful. We spent some time here exploring and taking photos.
It was nearing the end of the day and we wanted to visit the Rainbow Falls before sunset. And beautiful falls they are. I really like one that show the length of the falls. I took one photo from both lookouts and headed back to the camper-van. It was nearing dark and we hadn’t found a spot to stay the night yet. We’d decided to stay at a free campsite tonight and the closes one was in a town called Kaikohe. About a forty minutes drive west of Kerikeri. The campsite was just a parking area suited for long vehicles.
Well, that’s it for day two. Hope to see you for day three. Goodnight.
