Sorry if this seems a bit big, but its worth it: From beginning to end there's just about everything... Heavy freight, railtours, Steam train, Light engines, Horn blasts, heritage & modern traction, close pass overs and a Colas 37 beast...
You may wonder why I went to Sydney Gardens for Tornado? well, as the GWML is closing for the next month to allow engineering works to take place, it would prevent me from getting a shot of a glorious engine through the lush gardens... mainly due to electric wires...

A Green Day Out with TCV - The Conservation Volunteers in Action
The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) have a great Green Day Out at Marston Marsh in Norwich. We built a post and wire fence to make a safe grazing area for cattle.
Film by Deanna Allison. Made with support from the BBC Voices Studio.
Music: Bama Country by Kevin McLeod, Incompetech.com.
Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0
This film was first broadcast nationally in the UK on Community Channel in 2010 and has also been shown on the giant BBC Big Screen at Chapelfield, Norwich, England.
From the narration (Note, TCV was formerly called BTCV):
This is Eaton Common, Norwich, and I’m Deanna Allison, a conservation volunteer with BTCV.
Today we’re making the marsh secure for these cows to graze.
Grazing helps to conserve the habitat for plants and animals like this butterfly.
But, first things first, we start with a nice cup of tea and biscuits. And then we get to work.
We’re going to construct a fence so that the cows can graze safely.
But why am I volunteering on my day off?
Well, today I’m working outside and I’m not stuck inside some stuffy old office.
It might be a bit muddy, but who cares? The sun’s out!
And we’re having fun working together and making something for the community.
This is a good workout too, and it should help keep us fit and healthy.
And there’s always enough time for another tea break.
And a spot of lunch and a chat before going back to finish off the job.
Don’t worry! No humans were hurt during the making of this film.
We’re almost done now and it’s time to put in the final touches.
And finally the job is done. The end of a great Green Day Out.
Cheers!
