A red flag symbolizing blood unjustly shed and a call for avenging the dead was hoisted on the Jamkaran Mosque in the holy province of Qom during a ceremony on Saturday.
A picture of slain Iranian general Qasem Soleimani and a red 'Ya la-Tharat al-Husayn' flag were carried to the mosque rooftop where the flag was unfurled and hoisted.

Iran vows revenge as it unfurls red flag of WAR after America executed General Soleimani
IRAN pinpointed 35 'key US targets' as it unfurled a red flag of revenge after its top general was assassinated in a US drone strike.
The chilling display is seen as a clear warning the Islamic Republic is ready to fulfil its worrying pledge to strike back at America and Donald Trump.
Chillingly written across the war flag were the words: Those who want to avenge the blood of Hussein.
Red flags in Shiite tradition symbolise both blood spilled unjustly and serve as a call to avenge a person who is slain.
It was hoisted above the important Jamkaran Mosque which is on the outskirts of the holy city of Qom, about 100 miles south of Tehran.
Iran will respond to the United States killing of Iranian Quds force chief Qassem Soleimani any time and in any manner, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said.

Masjid Qurtaba, Spain Part 6 مسجدِ قرطبہ (Travel Documentary in Urdu Hindi)
The Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba, also known as the Great Mosque of Córdoba is located in the Spanish region of Andalusia. The structure is regarded as one of the most accomplished monuments of Moorish architecture. In 784 Abd al-Rahman I ordered construction of the Great Mosque, which was considerably expanded by later Muslim rulers. Córdoba returned to Christian rule in 1236 during the Reconquista, and the building was converted to a Roman Catholic church, culminating in the insertion of a Renaissance cathedral nave in the 16th century.
Since the early 2000s, Spanish Muslims have lobbied the Roman Catholic Church to allow them to pray in the cathedral. This Muslim campaign has been rejected on multiple occasions, both by the church authorities in Spain and by the Vatican.
The Mosque of Cordoba (Urdu: مسجد قرطبہ. Masjid-e Qurtaba) is an eight-stanza Urdu poem by Muhammad Iqbal, written circa 1932 and published in his 1935/6 collection Bāl-e Jibrīl ('The Wing of Gabriel'). It has been described as one of his most famous pieces and a masterpiece.

Shia Sunni Unity at Gulmarg Kashmir,Joint Friday Prayer Organised
Addressing a mammoth gathering of worshipers at Jamia Masjid Gulmarg (Kashmir) on 30th August 2013, being invited by the Islamic Scholars of Ahli Sunnat of Tangmar and Gulmarg, the Ambassador of Proximity and Unity Hujatul Islam Aga Syed Abdul Hussain Kashmiri termed Islam as combination of the Quran, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and the Muslims, which are interpreting each other.Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) guides towards Quran and the Quran guides towards Muslims and Muslim refers to Prophet (PBUH) but unfortunately practically ground situation speaks out something else. We the Muslims unwittingly become an easy pray of the nefarious designs of the foes of Islam and thus are engrossed in humiliating one another on the minor issues, he added.
World powers always distort and fabricate the facts whenever they want to execute their anti Islamic plans. They don't hesitate to brand Imam Ali (A.S) or the doyen of Martyrs Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) as Kafir and then assassinate not to talk of you and me. The representative of Tehran Based Proximity Center the World forum for proximity of Islamic Schools of thought Abdulhussain Kashmiri as reported by the International Urdu News Agency newsnoor said.
In the 15th Century when deep rooted conspiracies were hatched to overthrow the Muslim rule in Kashmir sectarian strife on the basis of Shia -- Sunni was flared up to set the Muslim Nation Kashmir ablaze. Shia is called one who follows the Great Sahaba of Imam Ali (A.S) were alleged to be using contemptuous language against the Sahaba. As a result, a comprehensive crusade was launched to eliminate the shias in 1548 -- on the same pattern and planning now a day we observe in Egypt, Palestine, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq. Therefore on the basis of our past experience we Kashmir's need to speak out that who so ever acts to stoke Shia -- Sunni violence they are an agent of anti islam powers. An International Journalist Hajj Abdulhussain said
Hajj Abdulhussain Kashmir, in a tune of questioning asked the worshipers that isn't it a popular maxim that Shia muslims develop horns on their heads and use the blood of Sunni Muslims to cook feast on the occasion of Navroz. He further added that we all know that it does not hold water; if you doubt then take off my turban and inspect and observe your selves. And as you can inspect horns on my head so can you know about Shias school of thought from our Imam.
Let us not depend on age old false sayings in this high tech age. Let us contact Imam Khamnaie, the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution and our Imam question him whether he allows Shia Muslims to blaspheme the holy things of Sunni Muslims. Shia Muslims believe in Imamat so are always accountable and answerable, he pleaded.

Cordoba City, Spain Part 5 قرطبہ (Travel Documentary in Urdu Hindi)
Cordoba is a city in Andalusia, southern Spain, and the capital of the province of Córdoba. It was a Roman settlement, then colonized by Muslim armies in the eighth century. It became the capital of the Islamic Emirate, and then of the Caliphate of Córdoba, including most of the Iberian Peninsula. Córdoba consisted of hundreds of workshops that created goods such as silk. It was a center of culture and learning during the Islamic Golden Age.
Caliph Al Hakam II opened many libraries in addition to the many medical schools and universities which existed at the time, making Córdoba a centre for education. During these centuries it became the center of a society ruled by Muslims, in which all other groups had a second-class status. It was recaptured by Christian forces in 1236, during the Reconquista. The historic center was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Córdoba has the highest summer temperatures in Spain and Europe, with average high temperatures around 37 °C (99 °F) in July and August.

Harun al-Rashid
Harun al-Rashid (Arabic: هارون الرشيد; Hārūn ar-Rashīd) (17 March 763 or February 766 — 24 March 809) was the fifth Abbasid Caliph. His birth date is debated, with various sources giving dates from 763 to 766. His surname translates to the Just, the Upright, or the Rightly-Guided. Al-Rashid ruled from 786 to 809, during the peak of the Islamic Golden Age. His time was marked by scientific, cultural, and religious prosperity. Islamic art and music also flourished significantly during his reign. He established the legendary library Bayt al-Hikma (House of Wisdom) in Baghdad in modern-day Iraq, and during his rule Baghdad began to flourish as a center of knowledge, culture and trade. During his rule, the family of Barmakids, which played a deciding role in establishing the Abbasid Caliphate, declined gradually. In 796, he moved his court and government to Ar-Raqqah in modern-day Syria.
Since Harun was intellectually, politically, and militarily resourceful, his life and his court have been the subject of many tales, some factual, but most believed to be fictitious. One factual tale is the story of the clock that was among various presents that Harun sent to Charlemagne. The presents were carried by the returning Frankish mission that came to offer Harun friendship in 799. Charlemagne and his retinue deemed the clock to be a conjuration for the sounds it emanated and the tricks it displayed every time an hour ticked. Among what is known to be fictional is The Book of One Thousand and One Nights, which contains many stories that are fantasized by Harun's magnificent court and even Harun al-Rashid himself.
