Truro is a small town in the central Nova Scotia, Canada. Truro is shire town of Colchester County and is situated on south side of Salmon River floodplain, which is very close to river’s mouth at eastern end of the Cobequid Bay.

9. Mastodon Ridge: You can get your photo clicked with mastodon a half way between Equater in Stewiacke and North Pole. Remains of juvenile mastodon were found in a quarry and Mastodon Ridge is really a great place to stop for some pictures, to pick up piece of local art from Winding River Art Gallery, a snack for road and mini golf.
10. Masstown Market: Just few minutes from the town is the Masstown Market where visitors find culinary favourite in onsite bakery, cafeteria style restaurant that servers homemade local meals, chip boat, fish, farm market, fish market, dairy bar and deli.

Attempted Break & Enter - Stewiacke
Crime Stoppers is asking for the publics help in identifying the person responsible to an attempted break and enter at the NSLC in Stewiacke, NS.
At around 6:58 AM the alarm was activated. When police arrived at the scene the stores video system showed a vehicle had struck the door and was stopped against it. The vehicle backed up a short distance and a male approached the door and checked the handle, at this time the vehicle rammed the door and the man.
The man fell then hobbled to the ram vehicle which fled the area.

Car Fire Stewiacke, NS - 06/07/09 (Part 1)
On June 7, 2009, Hampton Fire was returning home after FDIC in Wolfville, NS when we came across this car fire. The Stewiacke fire department was on their way but their dispatch sent them to the wrong highway. One of their LT showed up and told us that if we had our gear they could use our help.
