Tourist Spots in Matsusaka city, Mie pref. - Remains of Matsusaka Castle & others -
Matsusaka city is a small city located in the middle of Mie prefecture.
The name of the city is well-known for its bland beef, Matsusaka beef, I guess which is one of the most famous Japanese beef for overseas travelers in Japan along with Kobe beef.
Although not so many foreign travelers come to Matsusaka city, even Japanese travelers neither, I think the city has some historic spots worth visiting.
On this video, I'm introducing some of them, especially spots close to Matsusaka station.
I hope you could enjoy this video and I'm happy if you feel like visiting Matsusaka city through this video.
In addition, Matsusaka city is the city next to Ise city, which may be more popular with tourists. If you're planning a trip to Ise city, why don't you drop in at Matsusaka city as well?

Have you ever had Japanese BBQ? Matsusaka wagyu is one of the 3 premium types of beef in Japan, up there with Kobe and Yonezawa beef.
The Seiko-En yakiniku beef restaurant (焼肉清江苑) in Harajuku is one of my top best cheap eats in Tokyo when it comes to lunch deals. The Matsusaka set runs around $27 US, but you can get other quality sets for as low as $12 US--and you get access to the all-you-can-eat salad bar!

Suhara Shrine is a medium sized shrine in the west end of Ise city, in Mie prefecture. (三重県伊勢市一之木1丁目292, 516-0071)
Here I'm just exploring the shirine, trying to get used to my new Gopro hat mount. We can see several red shrine gates (Torii 鳥居), lion (Komainu 狛犬) and fox statues (Inari Ōkami 稲荷大神), some worn flags and a peaceful environment.

It has the Ise Jingu, the Ise Shine which is one of the most important shrines of Japan as it says Amaterasu lives there.
