VINARIJA I KONOBA MATUŠKO
VINA MATUŠKO
nastaju na poluotoku Pelješac, oazi crnih vina, koji posljednjih godina sve više posjećuje veliki broj turista i ljubitelja dobre kapljice. Šetajući pelješkim krajolicima nezaobilazna odredišta su vinogradi, konobe i vinarije do kojih ih put nanese slučajno ili namjerno. Spoj vina i turizma u Hrvatskoj i van granica Lijepe naše nude mnoge konobe i vinski podrumi. Ovdje ćete, tik do mora, pronaći more vinograda ispresjecanih stablima maslina kroz cijeli poluotok Pelješac, najviše na njegovom jugoistoku.
Mato Violić Matuško prezentira i nudi vrhunska autohtona vina Pelješkog kraja i Dubrovačko - neretvanske županije.
Peljesac Wines
Peninsula Pelješac is best known by its wine, or better yet – grapes. From Plavac Mali and Dingač the winemakers can make a lot of varieties of wine. The winyard area in Pelješac can't be found anywhere else in Croatia, because of it's specific geographical location – the nearness of the sea and the hills makes the red wine taste special. The two greatest wineries there – Skaramuča Wines and Matuško Wine – each have their own story about their production of wine. So let's us hear them...

Cracking Croatian Wine in Pelješac and Dubrovnik (Dalmatia)
Welcome to Pelješac Peninsula and Dubrovnik, in Dalmatia! In the third part of our Cracking Croatian Wine's Dalmatia series, we visit the old guards of Plavac Mali: Miloš Winery, Bura-Mrgudic Winery, and Kiridžija Winery, plus a strong newcomer Korta Katarina Winery. It was hard to cherry-pick the Croatian wine producers to feature in this episode, and we've selected these four because they make four distinctly different styles of Plavac Mali wines. If you would like to understand the sensory merits of Plavac Mali, these producers should not be missed.
As we travel along the Dalmatian coast, we also highlight other points of interest that you can add to your Dalmatia travel's itinerary, including the first two Croatian wine appellations, Dingač and Postup; the villages of Ston and Mali Ston, and Unesco World Heritage Site, Dubrovnik Old Town. Parts of the popular HBO series Game of Thrones was filmed in Dubrovnik.
After soaking up the Dalmatia sun-powered juice of Pelješac, we head to Proto Fish Restaurant, one of the best seafood restaurants in the country, and spotlight the seafood delights around the Pearl of the Adriatic.

A must Visit Matusko Winery in Croatia ???????? (half Filipino/Bahraini & half Dutch/ Croatian Couple)
When it comes to great wines, Croatia's Peljesac Peninsula doesn't exactly spring to mind the way Montepulciano or Rioja might. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't pay a visit to Peljesac's family-owned wineries Matusko. The Matusko Winery wines are easily identified by their unique labeling which features the illustration of two donkeys. The wines produced at Matusko Winery are known to be high quality and affordable, making it a popular tourist attraction for the growing wine enthusiast market that is emerging in Croatia. Dingač, matured in silence of oak barrels, with dark ruby red color and purple hues but clear at the same time, it has full and rounded flavor, harmonious taste combining astringency and sweetness. Superior Cuvee Barrique Matuško
Pelješac; u potopljenome brodu vino u amforama

Croatian Wine in 60 Seconds: Dingač
In the thirteenth episode of Croatian Wine in 60 Seconds, we step into Croatia's first wine appellation called Dingač. Established in 1961, the Dingač appellation is exclusive to the growth of Plavac Mali grapes. This area is constructed mainly from dolomite and limestone rock. The vineyards are found on varying gradients and exposures. Many vineyards are so steep that ropes and pulleys are used during harvest.
Wineries featured in this episode: Skaramuča Winery and Badel 1862
