One fruit that retains its natural flavor. I headed to the farm where I raised the fruit. In Hawaiian, Ono means delicious. If you have confidence in how much you taste, did you name the farm delicious? These fruits go to supermarkets, fruit shops, chefs in hotels and restaurants. People in Maui are lucky. You can eat your fruit. I started to look around the farm, handing in a bit of a cowardice. Soon after, Abu became sincere. The fruit I saw for the first time was full of farms. It 's ripe. Is this really true? This should be like this. Grandfather demonstrating eating first. I also ate it as it was, The snow is bigger. A lot of weight. Sugar water is more than this. Sugar is the perfect name for Apple. This is the first fruit I have ever seen. What fruit? It 's a baby fruit, it' s a flower. In about three months, the baby fruit grows to this extent. After a month or so, this changes. I can eat the fruit from this fruit. Right now? Yes. My grandfather, who just started cutting the other fruit with a knife. This fruit, which looks like garlic, was called cacao. The outer white part is the fruit. I make chocolates with seeds. First, after fermenting the fruit for 5 days, take out the seed and let it dry. Once the seeds are dried out, they are baked and very fine. I mix it with sugar to make chocolate. I've eaten a lot of chocolate, but it's the first time I have cocoa. I greedy and picked up two. Suck it. Chew it? Do not chew it. Suck it. Sweet and sour. It was a refreshing taste that would not be believed to be the raw material of chocolate. I have that kind of taste. I really like it. I can eat ten of them at a time. Everyone in Hawaii really appreciates living here. We are really lucky people. Working with God and being happy That 's what we do. God always helps us and nurture these beautiful fruits. Everything from flowers to cacao fruit is possible only with God's help. The nature of Hawaii seemed to be a gift God gave to humans.

Maui Tropical Plantation Tour
On our first day in Maui, we grabbed some Scooters and went to explore from Kahului. Our first stop was the Maui Tropical Plantation. Delicious food and drink options, shopping, tours of the grounds and lots of great information about growing pineapples and harvesting coconuts. If you have a morning or afternoon open, we recommend stopping in for a few hours to enjoy the beauty.
Our Channel’s main theme is “positivity” with focus on pausing to enjoy life’s moments and when possible “paying it forward” by using our time, money and resources to support a good cause. The content is generally focused on Travel, Dogs, Motorcycles and doing good for people, pets and our environment. We spend 9+ months per year traveling primarily in our 40ft Motorhome Toy-hauler with our 2 dogs and our 2 Harley’s, capturing interesting destinations, reviewing RV parks, Boon-docking locations, restaurants, products and hotels along the way. We do put other content up from time to time however most of our content will be focused on the above. Thanks for watching and we hope you subscribe to the channel.

Hawaiian Grown TV - Island Princess Candies - Orchard Tour
Thanks to a sweet inspiration and hard work by its owners, Dr. Michael Purdy and his wife, Gwendolyn (Gwen) Purdy, Island Princess has become one of Hawaii's top manufacturers of specialty macadamia nut products, luscious chocolates and unique gourmet confections. As president of Purdyco International, Ltd., Dr. Purdy oversees Island Princess Macadamia Nut Company, the 1,100-acre orchard and processing facility at Keaau on The Big Island of Hawaii, Island Princess manufacturer and distributor of Island Princess products, and Orchard Heights Winery near Salem, Oregon. Upon completion of his studies at Oregon State University, Dr. Purdy graduated from the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center with a degree in dentistry.
Originally from rural Oregon, Michael and Gwen both grew up as members of large families in the small logging community of Valsetz, where the entire length of the main street was one mile and their four-year high school had a total student body of 29.
In 1983, Michael and Gwen moved to Maui to begin a dental practice. Two years later, Gwen emerged as a successful entrepreneur in her own right, when she opened Maui's Best retail stores. That same year, the Island Princess brand was born when hand-dipping chocolates in front of their delighted customers became a special feature of the retail stores.
The unique Island Princess chocolate treats were an immediate hit with visitors to Maui as well as residents. When candy production expanded into factory space, Michael could be found practicing dentistry by day and manufacturing confections by night, gaining the nickname The Choc Doc.
Island Princess gourmet products became a major draw to consumers in The Islands and beyond, prompting Michael to give up his dental practice in order to focus full time on developing the growing business. Due to the increasing need for a larger labor pool and more convenient shipping, Island Princess relocated to Honolulu in 1989.
The next big step in Island Princess' growth occurred in 1998 with the acquisition of a macadamia nut orchard and processing facility, making Island Princess one of the few companies in Hawaii that grows, processes, manufactures and distributes macadamia nuts and confections. The Island Princess Orchard Estate, located on the slopes of Mauna Kea at Keaau on The Big Island of Hawaii is 1,100 acres of pristine farmland, with ideal natural conditions for growing macadamia nuts of the highest quality and with the richest flavor. In fact, dedication to quality, creativity and service are the keys to Island Princess success story. Our many loyal customers have come to depend upon Island Princess' trademarks of Hawaii-grown macadamia nuts, superior ingredients, innovative recipes and exceptional packaging.
Don't take just our word for it. Island Princess Macadamia Popcorn Crunch was voted the best caramel corn in the United States by National Food Distributors Magazine. Our world-famous Mele Macs are a year-round best seller. If it were possible to stack all of the Mele Macs consumed in one year, they would extend from sea level to the top of Haleakala (over 10,000 feet in elevation), more than 20 times.
With a strong work ethic, vast energy and dynamic leadership on the part of our owners, Island Princess continues to set new standards of excellence.

Radiation monitoring of myself and what I come in contact with: air/ambient, ground, plants, food, shelter, vehicles, etc.
Looking for correlations between personal readings and contact materials to find cost effective solutions to remediate/mitigate internal radiation exposure.
Since the human body is an osmotic membrane what goes in should be able to be removed. I plan to prove radiation poisoning is not permanent with the correct protocol based on environmental factors. The movie Radio Bikini and video of the Belarus children after Chernobyl were huge influences to undertake this personal study. Due to the fact that Japan has not stopped the radiation leaks of which a portion of the materials will take more than 2.5 million years to degrade into their equally harmful daughter products and more than 230 nuclear facilities exist in the contiguous 48 United States, personal preservation is the only safeguard to an ongoing and impending human health disaster. 25 years after the Chernobyl incident, the area is still uninhabitable but the area has always been green with trees, plants and grasses flourishing. Fuk-us-hi-ma is showing the same results and scientists agree that the radiation from the failed reactors circles the globe approximately every 40 days.

SURFING GOAT DAIRY FARM - [May 28, 2014]
SURFING GOAT DAIRY FARM - [May 28, 2014] • 7-minute video compilation...
We toured the dairy farm and fed the goats.
Surfing Goat Dairy farm is one of only two goat dairies in the state of Hawaii. It is spread out on 42 acres, and two thirds are dedicated as pasture. The dairy has three bucks and over 100 does.
We enjoyed a goat cheese baguette sandwich, and also chocolate truffles. My favorite was the salted chocolate pistachio truffle. The gift store has lots of fun stuff and it's reasonably priced.i
Their website is surfinggoatdairy.com and has more information.

Welcome to Gannon's Restaurant
Beverly “Bev” Gannon is Maui’s favorite chef – bar none. There is no arguing with the 2007 tally of votes by readers of The Maui News and Maui No Ka ‘Oi Magazine’s own write-in votes from chef colleagues naming Bev as the “Best Chef on Maui.” Born in Dallas, Texas and raised in the Jewish tradition of eat, eat, eat, Bev reminisces, “It’s what really got me interested in food and its preparation.”
As chef/owner of Hali’imaile General Store in Upcountry, Joe’s Bar & Grill in Wailea, Gannon’s on the Wailea Emerald Gold Golf Course; and owner of the longest-running catering company on the island, Celebrations Catering, Bev is perhaps best known to foodies as one of the 12 original founders of the Hawaii Regional Cuisine Movement which champions the concept of using fresh local ingredients in island menus rather than importing ingredients fromout-of-state. Each of her three restaurants offers different menuoptions but all feature island-fresh ingredients and flavors that define Bev’s particular style and personality.
The recognition that Bev has gained for her island-influenced dishes has built a following of critical acclaim across the country. Bev was nominated in 2004 for the prestigious James Beard Award for “Best Chef Hawaii/Pacific Northwest” and as Corporate Chef of Hawaiian Airlines, her food was named “Best Food in the Air in North America” by readers of Conde Nast Traveler (2003, 2004 and 2006.) Bev has also made numerous television appearances including NBC’s Today Show, The CBS Morning Show, and multiple shows on cable’s popular Food Network. She was further honored as one of the Great Chefs of Hawai‘i, a series on the Discovery Channel.
She has also received numerous local awards for her culinary accomplishments — honored by her peers with the Maui No Ka ‘Oi Ai’pono Award for “Chef of the Year” in 2006; Honolulu Magazine’s coveted Hale ‘Aina Award in 1999 and again for five years in a row 2002 – 2006, and she was proclaimed Maui’s “Best Chef” in 1997, 2007, 2009 and again in 2010 by readers of The Maui News.
After years of having customers and friends beg for her recipes, Chef Bev granted their wishes with The Hali‘imaile General Store Cookbook, published in 2001 by prestigious cookbook publisher 10 Speed Press (Berkeley, California). Her recipes have also appeared in Anthony Dias Blue’s book America’s Kitchen (1995) and she’s the only Hawaii chef included in Women of Taste, a cookbook that showcases 30 of America’s best female chefs (1997). Following the success of her first cookbook, in 2009 Bev published her second cookbook, “Family Style Meals at the Hali‘imaile General Store” which has become a favorite among her fans the world over.
From celebrated chef, successful restaurateur, airline Corporate Chef to published writer, Bev Gannon is a culinary celebrity whose star continues to rise to delectable new heights.
Hawaiian Grown TV - Hawaiian Eateries - Segment 3
Hawaiian Eateries began, back in 1979, as a small sandwich shop in Lahaina. Soon people discovered our salads, and the business began to grow. Now our products are served in restaurants, delis, hospitals, schools and supermarkets all over the Islands. The reason for our success? We paid attention to Island tastes and we still do.
You can depend on us for ready-to-serve salads and desserts that capture all the flavor of our unique Island culture. We're your source for authentically spicy Kim Chee and deliciously sweet-sour Namasu. We know what kind of creamy, flavorful potato salads, pasta salads, and cole slaws are flavored for local luncheon plates. Our light, elegant fruit desserts taste delicious in tropical weather.
And we offer you more than tropical flavor. With our products, you save time, and every serving tastes just as fresh and flavorful as if it had been made to order in your own kitchen. That's because we make everything just the way you would, with top quality ingredients and lots of care.
Give your customers the best of the Islands. It's easy, with the help of Hawaiian Eateries -- Hawaii's Fresh Foods.
