Mt Maya Ropeway (Kobe, Japan) Jun-2017
Took a cable car/ropeway ride up to Mt Maya to experience one of the Top 3 Night Views of Japan (aka The Ten Million Dollar Night View). It certainly lives up to its reputation!
The panoramic view from Mt Maya takes in the entire Osaka bay, with both Osaka and Kobe city in one single view. Without doubt a MUST to experience while in the region!

その摩耶山と神戸市街地とを結ぶのが、摩耶ケーブルです。
「虹の駅」から「摩耶ケーブル下駅」までの下りで撮ってみました。
本当は上りのほうがわくわくするのですが...。

My friend and I went to Kobe yesterday and went up Mount Maya - it was absolutely stunning! Hopefully you like cityscapes as much as we do. :p

THE BEST OF KOBE - Chinatown, Kobe Port, Mt Maya | Backpacking Japan Vlog 3
Kobe City is not far from Osaka and Kyoto but it is less visited than these Cities but I loved it and I'm so glad I visited.
I had 2 days to see as many things to do in Kobe as I could. I started off on a walking tour around Nada neighbourhood with my Hostel - Maya Guesthouse. Then I headed into Downtown Kobe to Nunobiki Waterfalls just behind Shin Kobe Station and then to Chinatown which has lots of nice street food and I sampled the Sesame Balls and a Sweet Piggy Dumpling!
I walked the 10 minutes to Kobe Harbour Port where I could see the Kobe Port Tower, BE KOBE Sign, the Ferris Wheel and loads of interesting buildings.
To hide from the rain I headed into Kobe Harbourland and the Mosaic Building which is full of restaurants. Once the rain cleared I saw a great sunset in Kobe Harbour.
Kobe is sandwiched between the Ocean and Mountains so the next day I took the Cable Car and Ropeway up to Mount Maya to see an amazing view over Kobe.
This is a popular place to visit in Kobe at night-time too to see the City and a lot of Kansai all lit up!

兵庫県神戸市灘区のケーブルカー路線。上部のロープウェイ路線、摩耶ロープウェーと合わせて「まやビューライン夢散歩」と公式愛称がつく。虹駅は大正時代の建築物。現在年間1億円の赤字を抱える状態で廃止のピンチである。なくなるとロープウェイの存続にも影響し、摩耶山に登る交通機関が大きく制限される（比良山みたいに登る人が少なくなる）ので、なんとか残して欲しいものだが。車両は1955年の日立製作所製。車両の老朽化も心配である。

야경도 너무 아름다워서 저녁에 많이 간답니다.
하지만 낮에 가셔도 너무 좋아요.
정상에는 넓은 공원같은 공간이 있어서 쉬다 오셔도 좋아요.

We take a little walk at the top of a mountain call Venus Bridge before service

On the national Health-Sports Day I decided to explore the local mountain Maya. It was fun to take the cable car and ropeway to the top and walk down from the mountain. Afterwards I went to Sannomiya with Michelle to get some coffee and eat udon noodles (^^)!

Riding the Rokko Cable Car up 493 metres (1,617 feet) in Kobe, Japan
The Rokkō Cable Line (六甲ケーブル線 Rokkō Kēburu-sen) is a Japanese funicular line on Mount Rokkō in Kobe, Hyōgo, Japan.
(A funicular (/fəˈnɪkjʊlər/) is a mode of transportation which uses a cable traction for movement on steep inclined slopes)
The elevation between the two stations is 493 metres (1,617 feet) and was opened in 1932.
