Nadir Shah Fortress The Round Castle (Dynasty) was built in 1747-1786 at the same time as Lankaran Castle. The second tower, similar to the tower, is Lighthouse. Even the total area of the Lankaran fort was almost twice as big as the Baku fort. This tower has played an important role as a stronghold and a stronghold in the wars that have taken place since 1869. After the invasion of the Russian troops, the general walls of the fort were demolished and the military fort was demolished, and this magnificent building began to be used as a prison. It is said that prisoners were brought here by the secret underground passage between the prison and the Mayak, which ensured the confidentiality of those brought there, and even Joseph Stalin, a prominent figure, was imprisoned there for a while. The circular tower was used as a prison until the 1970s. By the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No 132, dated August 2, 2001, the sanctuary is protected by the state and included in the list of architectural monuments.
