Travel to Guatemala
If Guatemala is your destination this holiday, then be ready for a one-of-a-kind experience. If the idea of simply relaxing and taking it easy sounds like magic to you, then Guatemala is the perfect place to do it.
You've made the decision to travel to Guatemala. Now, all you have to do is plan what you want to see and do there, and how youre going to fit it all in! Our travel guide provides you with all the information you need about this Central American nation, Guatemala. We inform you about which of Guatemala's attractions are most worth visiting.
Guatemala is a country of unimaginable vistas and stunning natural beauty. It has gigantic volcanoes, forested mountains, and Mayan ruins. Some of the most spectacular Mayan ruins are located in Guatemala. The majority of the Mayan population still dons multicolored native attire.
Guatemala is one of Central America's most magical travel destinations. When you are there, do visit Antigua, Panajachel and Chichicastenango. Also plan a visit to Lake Atitlan, Xela, and the Mayan ruin of Tikal.
Hike up into the crater of one of the many dormant volcanoes in Guatemala, and spend a night there!
Cycling, motorcycling, hiking, white water rafting, kayaking, and fishing are many of the sports you can choose from.
The food and drink in Guatemala is chiefly influenced by the country's Mayan and Spanish cultures. A Guatemala breakfast isnt complete without a mug of world-class Guatemalan coffee. Most Guatemalan meals include corns, rice, beans, cheese and tortillas.
Travellers are captivated by Guatemalas gracious culture. It has much variety to offer visitors: superb pyramid complexes, smoking volcanic landscapes, and rainforests teeming with wildlife.
This relatively undeveloped country values education highly. Teaching Spanish language is a big business in Guatemala. There are many Spanish language schools in Guatemala. Why not do a basic language course to improve your communication skills when vacationing in Spanish speaking countries?

GUATEMALA land of eternal spring
Traveling through Guatemala my girlfriend and I took these pictures.
It starts with the volcanoes of Lake Atitlan, one of the inspirations for The Little Prince's snake eating an elephant picture. Then it transitions to the Market of Chichicastenango, followed by Mayan Ceremonies, Caves, Rivers, Paradise, and the Mayan City of Tikal on the 12th of October where 400 Mayan Priests from around the country gather to pray.
