20160609 Mayflower Baited lander
The Bristol Channel Pilot Cutter, Cornubia, takes disabled children sailing in the waters around Plymouth UK. As part of the program showing them ocean life we deploy a baited lander to the sea bed beneath the boat in Mayflower Marina to see what eats the poo and dead stuff that settles there. A live camera shows the action as it unfolds on a TV screen on board, and a video camera records a time lapse video. On this occasion the vigorous action of the Ballan wrasse trying to get at the bait stirred up the weed and obscured the live camera, so it was not until later that we saw these fish, and the Netted dogwhelks crawling over the mud.

A friend was curious to see what his area looked like from above so I flew the Hubsan H501S and he hitched a ride with my Skyzone V2 FPV goggles. Needless to say, I think he liked it!
