The Mediterranean Conference Centre is undoubtedly firmly established as one of the most impressive conference centres in all of Europe. The Centre's historic background and imposing architecture no doubt play a very important role in securing the position it enjoys today.
For over two centuries, the building that now houses the Mediterranean Conference Centre was the 'Sacra Infermeria' or Holy Infirmary of the Order of St. John. Constructed in the latter part of the 16th Century, this architectural landmark has had a fascinating history during which it was subject to various transformations as it changed to accommodate the needs of the day.

The 11th EVRS Meeting will follow the EVRS congress philosophy. No invited lecturers. The program will be built by the sole abstract submissions. Each member will pay his registration fee and will be treated equally. The goal is not to give an audience to a certain number of lecturers in order to promote them but really to share our tricks, our knowledge and our experience. Never more than this year, the congress will be closer to the EVRS fundamentals.

Mediterranean Conference Centre - La Valette - Malte
Le Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC, Malte: Dar il-Mediterran għall-Konferenzi) est un centre de conférence à Valletta, Malte. Le bâtiment a été construit comme un hôpital au 16ème siècle par l'ordre de rue John, et il a été connu sous le nom Sacra Infermeria ou l'infirmerie sainte (maltais: Il-Furmarija). Il était connu comme le Grand Hôpital pendant l'occupation française de Malte. Il fut l'un des principaux hôpitaux d'Europe jusqu'au XVIIIe siècle et il demeura en usage jusqu'en 1920. Il avait une capacité de 500 à 2 500 patients. Le bâtiment est maintenant utilisé pour de multiples banquets, expositions, conventions internationales et spectacles théâtraux. L'auditorium du centre compte environ 1 500 sièges.

#iGathering11 was held at the historical Sacra Infermeria, now known as the MCC, in Valletta. We flew a Michelin chef from Piedmont, Italy and a cigar roller from far outside Europe.
