Megane Bashi ???? Nagasaki's Spectacles Bridge ???? 長崎のめがね橋 ???? Japan As It Truly Is
Megane Bashi - one of Nagasaki's historical bridges over the Nakashima River going back to 1634 and built by by the 2nd generation Chinese monk Mokusunyoujo of Kofukuji Temple. It's called Megane Bashi or the Spectacles Bridge since the water's reflection makes it look like a pair of eyeglasses. It's also one of the 3 most famous bridges in Japan, and the oldest stone arch bridge. No, it's not London Bridge but worth a look if you are passing by - and few tourists ever take notice. It's a short walk from the Nigiwaibashi streetcar stop.

(Combined) Nagasaki's Megane Bashi, which is supposed to look like spectacles/glasses with the reflection in the water. There were also koi nearby which I filmed as well.

紅葉の嵐山、渡月橋 Togetsukyo （透明水彩風景画）【Watercolor】
紅葉の京都嵐山、渡月橋を描いてみました。
透明水彩です。
透明水彩の「滲み」を利用して紅葉した山々を表現してみました。
ちなみに、
嵐山の紅葉の見ごろは11月中旬から12月上旬です。
それと、渡月橋が最も美しく見れるのは晴れた日の早朝です。南北にかかった橋なので、東からそそぐ朝日に照らされた渡月橋は最も映えます。
